Editorial Review:
When 12-year-old Seth is left without a home, he must go to live with his grandparents on a farm in Utah. Being a city kid, life is tough, getting up before sunrise to do chores and having full responsibility of learning to drive a stubborn old tractor. But, adventure beyond his wildest dreams awaits the boy! A rogue grizzly bear attacks and kills the neighbor's sheep, so Seth's grandfather fears that his own family's livestock will fall victims to the marauding predator! Seth and his grandfather decide they must ride together by horseback, into the high mountain country, to round up their grazing cattle before the ruthless grizzly finds them. When grandfather is attacked without warning by the giant bear, Seth must confront man-sized danger to save his injured grandpa. Bonus DVD featurette: Expert Trainers show you how they handle bears, wolves, and cougars, On The Set Interviews with young stars of Majestic Films!, Tips on training your dog to be a star! Screenwriter Craig Clyde shows you how to begin creating your own movie!
Long Road Home Reviews:
Fantastic movie
2009-06-26 - This movie got more interesting as it went along. The teenagers were great actors, as were the adults. Ok, it was a little predictable but the general charm of the movie overcame that, as did the scenery.
"Buyer Beware"
2008-07-29 - The DVD that I purchased dosen't have some of the extras the Editorial Review advertised. No cast interviews, Expert Trainers show you how they handle bears, wolves, and cougars are only PHOTOS and No tips to train your dog how to be a star.
good movie
2007-03-08 - Good story that brought back memories of growing up in the country. Scenery and setting was spectacular. Acting was good.
OK
2006-11-03 - THIS MOVIE AS I REMEMVER HAD SOME BAD WORDS IN IT SO WE DIDN'T ENJOY IT AS WE DID THE OTHERS.MAYBE YOU COULD WORK ON THAT FOR THE AUDIENCE.
