Love Soulfully Expressed! 
2009-10-02 - Mary J. Blige definitely brings to light many feelings many can relate to. This single will definitely be to your enjoyment and satisfaction. From the listening experience it's quite clear that the themes of love being tough are strong. While the first track shows an "in control" attitude the other one shows another quite tender and loving side. Both songs are from the smashing album titled, "The Breakthrough".
The first song, "Enough Cryin" Radio Edit [3:30] is excellent and the reason for my purchase. It's the strong confident individual who won't put up with games, or a love that's gone wrong. The music has great beats, hooks, claps, bass-lines, and blends of hip-hop, R&B and rap. My favorite part is the rap portions that express the message of how being the naive unconfident lover is not an option. It ends with: "It's time to do something for me!" Overall, you will get mid-tempo beats with some uplifting ones. For those who are not feeling too great from a love that isn't going strong then this may be for you!
The second track, "Be Without You Live" [4:31] simmers down a few notches. It's about not being to live without that special someone. Since the first song has a nice "get lost, get out of my face" attitude, I found this one to bring about a nice diverse feeling. The sounds are very mellow and positive. Her voice sounds rawer and very much different from the first track. This is live from AOL Music Sessions showcasing flawless singing. The soulfulness is strong and fierce!
More Cryin'
2006-07-14 - Mary J. Blige has arguably been one of the very few R&B singers that has really maintained her edge within the past 15 years, who still sounds as fresh and exciting as they were conjured years ago. Her second single from her 2005 record album The Breakthrough, Enough Cryin' is a very dynamic and edgey R&B / Hip Hop songs of the past year. It has been one of the few songs this year that really delivers well, over performers like Ashanti or the absolutely overexposed Beyonce'. This songs grows on you after a little time. I just hope she keeps on delivering more good tracks from this record and the next several ones she'll make down the road. It might be enough cryin', but it carries a good tune.
