Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation Reviews: Lest we forget... 2009-12-23 - Yes, this movie is poo-poo. There's no denying that. But to all the people who are outraged that Leatherface dresses as a woman, I feel that they should be reminded of a few facts. The inspiration for Leatherface, Ed Gein, cut the skin off of dead women and made a whole suit that he wore on a regular basis. Just like Buffalo Bill (Silence of the Lambs) and Norman Bates (Psycho), were crossdressers, and also based on Gein.
And the fact that in the original, Leatherface had his "pretty lady" mask with lipsick and other make-up on when he was cooking supper.
I wonder if the picture on the DVD cover of Renée Zellweger was taken when she realized she still had a career after being in this turd of a movie.
A slap in the face to the horror genre 2009-11-13 - Leatherface is a crossdresser who gets b!**hslapped around constantly and kills nobody. Do I need to say anything else about why this film is a worthless piece of crap? Nothing but mainstream trash that disrespects the franchise.
Different... very primal 2009-10-13 - Weird, but this movie reminded me of what animals we were not so long ago. I'm sure that's how we acted.... how the hell did we become so civilized??
I actually thought the sexually between Matthew and his women was kinda hot.. raw... rough. Something brutally honest about it.. if I may turn a cheek to PC for just a moment.
Sorry I'm in a abnormal state of mind after watching this so i hope I haven't offended you.. C i am already heading back home to my compassionate concerned self. booo!
Best comedy ever.... 2009-10-09 - "Co-scribe of the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," Kim Henkel, sat behind the director's chair and made the complete opposite of what fans want from these movies." - This movie is in the vein of Return of the Living Dead (but not as funny); franchise continued with humor and strangeness. This one of my have a few beers watch a movie mindlessly top picks. Hell, the title "Next Generation" is a dead giveaway to the f'ed-upness in store for you.
Not bad-not bad at all to me 2009-10-03 - This was a very wierd sequel in the TCM series. Truthfully, when i first saw it on the Chiller channel on TV,i didn't really get it. Later on i buoght it at Hastings a while ago in my pursuit to have all the TCM movies. this movie has grown on me. you know, if you watch it closely it is acually very similar in quite a few ways with the first movie (then, now, and always the classic).Later on i found out that it was a sequel as well as a semi-remake film. frankly, the fact that matthew.M.was in it with Renee.Z.was interesting in its own right (and they do good in this movie) but anyway, i like it and you should give it a chance and look at it from a brighter point. the end of this review-
