Peep and the Big Wide World: Peep Explores Reviews:
Peep is Wonderful!
2009-06-27 - Both my 6 year old and my 2 year old sit down once a day and watch one of these episodes. Not only are they laughing (with me) at the jokes and slapstick, but they are learning about science in a way that even I am sometimes fooled at the lessons.
This is the first installment of the show, explaining how Peep came to live in a can, meeting the characters and having a first glimpse at why this show is so wonderful.
From names you will recognize (Megan Mullaly and Holly Hunter make appearances in an episode; Joan Cusack as the narrarator) to ones you may not be so familiar with, it is a show that is still worthwhile!
A breath of fresh air!
2007-07-13 - My 2 year old can't get enough of Peep! Gone are the days of Sesame Street because Peep, Chirp and Quack have stolen her heart. A great show that moves at a nice pace, teaches good lessons and is truly innocent. Refreshing to find something so simple, but high quality!
For all ages!
2007-01-03 - I purchased this for our 1 1/2 and 5 1/2 year old children...they love the series on TLC! It is such calming, wholesome enjoyment for everyone in our house! (my husband and I truly enjoy it as well!) It is bright and simple enough to hold the attention of our toddler, and also has the humor to entertain our Kindergartener, while delivering a message at the same time! Recommend this for families with children over a range of ages!
