Audio-biography + interviews and a free mini-poster
Along with the new wave of British heavy metal came Metallica, who were pioneers of a new sound: trash-metal. With the band complete, the group headed off to New York to meet entrepreneur, Johnny Z. After signing with Elektra Records they recorded 'Ride the Lightning' and never looked back. How did Metallica form, what are their musical influences and how have they managed to stay a success for so long? Find out on this audio-biog containing interview clips from the band and free poster.
Maximum Metallica Reviews:
A must for any true Metallica fan!
2001-02-21 - This CD features a partial history of the band, and some interviews with the members of Metallica. It tells in detail about the death of their former bassist Cliff Burton, and about their new bassist Jason Newsted. It tells about each member of the band, and about their music. And, it offers a little insight about why they changed the way the play their music, like the CDs Load and ReLoad, which are a far cry from the older Metallica albums, like And Justice For All, and Master of Puppets. A true, must-buy collector's item for any true Metallica fan.
