Metal Up Your Ass Reviews:
of course its kill em all
2009-11-17 - To the reviewer who pointed out that this album is Kill em all....of course it is.....
This was the initial cover to the album we know as Kill em all, however when they went to widespread distribution, the record exec's veto'ed this cover....this prompted Cliff Burton to name the album "kill em all" in reference to the exec's which blocked this cover.....
this is a collectors item...but to be shocked that this is basically just Kill em all means you didn't do your homework
Not what it claims to be!!!
2009-04-24 - I got this a couple of years ago, on vinyl, so when I got it in the mail, I hurried up and opened it and stuck it on my player. But instead of hearing Metallica's demos, I got "Kill 'Em All". The label and artwork said "Metal Up Your A**", but that's not what was on it. I returned it and got another one. Same thing. Now, "Kill 'Em All" is a classic, but this is a rip off! Am I the only one that this has happened to? I'm afraid of getting another copy because I'll bet my life savings that I'll get ripped off again. DON'T BUY THIS!!!!
....AND to the A-Hole who said I didn't do my homework and that this is supposed to be "Kill 'Em All" with the original cover, I say: You're an Idiot! If this is Kill 'EM All", why are there only eight songs listed on the back? Why is "Hit the Lights" on there twice? Why do the notes on the back say that these are demos? Why does it say that Ron McGovney played bass and that Dave Mustaine played guitar? Did they both play on "Kill 'Em All"? No, I didn't think so. I still say THIS IS NOT WHAT THE PACKAGING CLAIMS IT IS and DO NOT BUY THIS RIP OFF LP! Seriously, save your cash.
CD NOT AN ALBUM!
2008-01-18 - I have ordered and ordered this CD and have gotten LP-albums each time.
What is the problem, the add says CD,and that is what I want. I have records that I can't play, cause I have no recordplayer.I just wanted the CD.
Amazon needs to fix the listing
2007-12-04 - As others have stated this is an LP, not a cd. Unless you want it for decoration or actually have a record player don't waste your money.
great for true metallica fans
2007-11-14 - It may not be on cd but this is very close to metallica famouse demo no life till leather
