The $5.98 E.P. Garage Days Re-Revisited - Metallica Reviews:

A Classic 5 Star Review
2009-01-25 - This is just another example of classic, perfect metallica. Ot is only 5 tracks but they are 5 solid damn good tracks! But in all honesty, you should just buy the garage inc. The First disk in my opinion sucks but the 2nd disk includes these and other great old cover tracks Metallica has done, Like "Bread Fan" and "Am I Evil?".Plus, on amazon, they are about the same general price.

my favorite metallica 5 Star Review
2009-01-12 - yes, this is my favorite album and the first metallica album i bough many years ago on cassette. this introduced me to a lot of other great lesser known acts such as killing joke and misfits. try it.

Metallica at their best... 5 Star Review
2008-06-28 - I had this cassette back in the mid-80's and cherished it. No commerical song and guitar hooks like their 90's stuff, nor glossy production, or imagey photo ops. Just great heavy rock music, which Metallica were masters of throughout the 80's. I completely lost interest in Metallica after "And Justice For All," and that album was the beginning of the end. But it's great that you can still find this great Garage Days EP, without the cheesey covers such as "Tuesday's Gone," and even the cover of Sabbath's Caddabra is bad on the later, re-configured release with the newer cover songs.

Stick to this original collection of Garage Days EP songs and you can't go wrong, they are all excellent, right up there as a whole, with their first three albums. Highlights being "The Wait," "Last Caress/Green Hell," "Helpless," and "Crash Course In Brain Surgery." Buy the original vinyl here if you can, since the ability to buy it on any other format seems to have been discontinued. I also had the poster in my bedroom for several years, of this EP's cover, back in the late 80's and early 90's. I'm a little surprised by the lack of concern by all the hard core Metallica fans (which I'm not) that haven't clamored for copies if this EP, to be more available or released in it's original form again.

Garage Days!! 5 Star Review
2007-10-27 - This is one of Metallica's better albums.
"GREEN HELL" one of the best songs on the CD.
I've been a fan since "MASTER OF PUPPETS".
I would recommend this album!!
I rate this album a 8 from 1to10!!
