A very rare gem indeed! 5 Star Review
2008-07-04 - To my knowledge I am the only person I know who actually owns this set. It was issued in 1995 by Planet Records and pressed by Trichant in Japan. This 3 disc set includes early Metallica demos, studio outtakes from the "Black" album, as well as Jason Newsted's death metal side project, IR8!

Any true Metallica fan wouldn't want to miss this set (if you ever get an opportunity to hear it) because it also features songs from the Dave Mustaine and Ron McGovney eras as well!

Dave can be heard performing vocals on multiple tracks throughout the set. A real classic headbanging treat for the trues left out there!

The overall sound quality is so-so as the source tapes for some of these recordings were probably James' 4 track from back in the day, but that only adds to the overall mystique and appeal of this legendary band!

If you can find this set out there somewhere be sure and add it to your collection. You won't regret it!

No life til leather!
