Good but not steller
2004-03-04 - This disk is for the essential collector. However, the recording of master of puppets is awesome right up until james hums over the solo in an attempt to get the crowd to sing the solo as they play it. Trust me, it is annoying when you listen to it! The cd overall is good except for James' sillyness during master of puppets. Dirty Window gets a solo but it doesn't seem to fit. Also, the song sounds flimsy live compared ot the studio version. Usually I prefer metallica live. I recommend this single if you buy enough singles you can almost burn your own 2003 concert....I would also recommend the maxi single of unamed feeling it is really good. Also METALLICA COULD YOU RELEASE A FEW MORE TRACKS FROM THE NEW TOUR (Frantic, ST> ANGER, UNAMMED FEELING, SOME KIND OF MONSTER) Better yet how about another LIVE disk!!!! WE will buy iT!!!!

The Named single
2004-02-26 - I've just got this great copy of this Australian edition single. Obviously the first thing i did was to listen to this single. It's great to have this exclusive version, the art work it's great. The winner for the cover must be more than proud.

Well The Unnamed Feeling song everyone has listended to it, it's the same version that the one on the album, great song, great lyrics, just great. From day one I had St. Anger it was my third favorite song on the album, I'm glad it came out as a single.

Dirty Window, also one of the greatest songs from St. Anger. This time live, not like the one on the rehersals DVD. But a great tour alive song. Well, I might say that a nice guitar solo was included on this song. Since no song on the album has a solo, it was a very nice tocuh to add this into the song.

Master of Puppets live, well... how many times have I heard this song live, so many live perfomances, different sounds, shot version, long version...different years... well they still play it just as always AMAIZYNG!!!!!!!

Battery live!!!! well, what's different this time??? After so long, they have included the opening accustig guitar intro into that song, as it's supposed to be.

The sound of this three live versions are much better than the live versions on the frantic singles. You can feel the vibe on the show.

This guys have changed a lot, for good as always. This guys are reallly a live band, more that an album band. And you can get this on this excelent edition for this single. It's going to be great playing this versions and this single on my drums.
