A slice of life
2008-10-16 - Charlie Mackenzie (Mike Myers) self made poet, has successfully avoided tying the knot with several women by finding out their flaws in the "nick" of time. Looks like his luck may be running out.

He falls in love with the local butcher, Harriet Michaels (Nancy Travis), who may be more of a cut-up than she appears. Will Charlie Axe-cept her at face value or will his suspicious nature once again interfere with marital bliss?

If he takes the plunge will his friend (Anthony LaPaglia) find out that Charlie is not paranoid and come to his rescue (in time)?

2008-08-11 - I really enjoy this movie ao when I heard there was a SE of it coming out on Blu-Ray I pre-ordered it ASAP. But after getting the disc and seeing there were ZERO Features on the disc. No Commentary, No Deleted Scenes I was very let down. Good Picture for its age. Gave the disc a 4 since I enjoy the movie so much.

2008-06-23 - Just prior to Mike Meyer's huge success with Austin Powers he starred in this funny as heck flick. If you're a fan of Mike, this is not to be missed. Great fun!

Movie doesn't work after first time. :(
2008-06-19 - So as a fan of this movie since it came out, I upgraded to have it on Blu-Ray and watch it in high definition on my 52" screen, as my old DVD is sorely dated.

#1 0 special features, that really sucked, couldn't even put the trailer from the first DVD on there?

#2 I can't get it to play again. I watched it once, and it has some kind of loading screen when starting, but after watching it last night when I bought it, it will no longer start, it comes up with the loading screen and never goes past it.

Buyer beware, this is on the Sony PS3 with the latest firmware (2.36)
