Breaking up is hard to do--but that doesn't mean you can't have some belly laughs about it. Forgetting Sarah Marshall provides that rare treat: a romantic comedy about breakups, that is both romantic and funny. The laughs, especially from writer-star Jason Segel, are both heartfelt and raunchy, and the film is just unexpected enough that it keeps the viewer's attention till the end. The touches of producer Judd Apatow, who's famously retooled rom-coms to appeal to guys as much as women, are woven throughout the film, but Segel's script, reportedly based on many of his own experiences, is fresh and original. And adult. Forgetting Sarah Marshall features male genitalia laffs presented in unexpected and human ways (the nude breakup scene is played for giggles but also deep poignancy), and the language and sex scenes are strictly for grownups--and rightly so. Segel's script, and his performance as Peter, show that he understands the true nature of adult re! lationships, which provides the refreshing difference between this film and some of Apatow's other crude creations. The cast is sublime; Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars) plays title character Sarah, a self-absorbed actress, and Russell Brand is her new British honey who accompanies her to--what are the chances?--the exact same Hawaiian resort as Peter, who's nursing his broken heart. Mila Kunis plays Rachel, the resort employee who gives Peter a reason to hope, and Paul Rudd is the surfing instructor who gives him his own brand of heartfelt advice ("When life gives you lemons, just say 'F--- the lemons' and bail," he says cheerily). The pacing is screwball, and the absurdities fly (a "Dracula" musical puppet show, and a surprisingly lovely Hawaiian version of "Nothing Compares 2 U"). Best comedy film and best BluRay title to date ! 
2008-10-12 - This release is the winner.
We've got the movie , both theatrical and unrated edition (recommended to watch,of course) and IN-Movie Video Commentary (PIP) and BD-Live access and ...EXTRAS ! But not just any extras but HD extras ! Every bit of Extra-feature on this BluRay release is in HD quality !
As for the movie - i really don't need to tell you anything - don't want to spoil the experience of the unrated version - but it's really really worth watching !
The deleted / alternate scenes - are like watching another movie,i'm telling you,it's incredible
Get this title ASAP , you will laugh like there's no tomorrow !

2008-10-12 - I thought this movie was going to be more "laugh out loud" funny than I found it to be, but I did like it.
Although you're supposed to dislike Aldous Snow I actually really liked him. When we first meet him he's rambling on about a missing sandal so I thought he was going to be one of those over the top characters that are so annoying you HAVE to hate them. But Aldous was actually funny, intelligent and more thoughtout than to be expected.
Mila Kunis- Good job with the whole "girl is cooler than the guy" role.
Jason Segel- Not as funny as I thought he would be in comparison to his smaller roles I've seen him in. I thought the whole Dracula musical idea was funny until he said it was with muppets...
I need to B my L on somebody's T's.
2008-10-10 - This movie is hilarious. Its one of those comedies you can watch a million times & never get tired of. EVERYBODY needs to watch it.
Will Be Forgetting Sarah Marshall In 10 Minutes 
2008-10-08 - I knew I was in trouble when, within 15 minutes of this film starting, I had to deal with another 'John Favreau-Swingers' type of character. That means that we get to spend an hour and forty five minutes watching a whiny 30 year old guy mope around because his girlfriend dumped him.
This would be tolerable for a high school kid, but not a 30 year old guy who they show throughout the film as being almost a 3rd wheel at his gf's premiers and red carpet events. he doesn't like any of the clothes she buys him, either...so you never really know why he is so devastated with the breakup to begin with. The more they flashed back to their past the more you realize what a nightmare she is....so I don't get it.
But anyway, this guy decides the best way to clear his head is to go to Hawaii. Of course, his ex is at the same hotel on the same island with her new man. Basically, it's the same plot as any other 'comedy' about breakups and how people try to get over failed relationships. I guess this is the structure for Comedy 101, but the filmmakers and writers here are better than that, so the entire premise is disappointing.
It's way too easy to figure out what's going to happen when he checks into the hotel, has the awkward moment with his ex and...SHOCK...there's a beautiful brunette who just happens to work at the reception desk.
Since everyone is comparing this to 'Knocked Up'...there is no comparison. Everything about 'Knocked Up' was completely original and had the type of dialogue that you just didn't/don't get in American cinema. The only thing close to it was 'There's Something About Mary'.
I understand it's hard to live up to that kind of standard and virtually everything they do from here on out will be a bit of a disappointment. However, this really was a major disappointment. I 'chuckled' three times at three lines that may have taken up a combined :17 of film time...and when you're dealing with an hour and forty five minutes of film time, that's a lot of dead air.
I think we'd be better in comparing it to another movie....Ben Stiller's 'The Heartbreak Kid' that was equally as bad. That's a much better comparison.
Hopefully I click my Kangaroo's together and wake up from the nightmare that was viewing this feature film.
Just say no.
The 40 Year Old Knocked Up Virgin 2
2008-10-07 - I thought this movie was not great, but pretty good. What really sold me was the graphic male nudity.
