Batman doesn't disappoint in this new series
2009-01-09 - This isn't quite Batman: The Animated Series, but in its tradition, it doesn't disappoint. However, just like Batman: TAS, it draws on the recent Batman movie, Batman Begins, for its inspiration as well as Batman: TAS. As a Batman fan, a DC comics fan, or even a fan of cartoons or storytelling, get these and the 5th season as a whole. Your kids will thank you, and you'll thank yourself, too.

Not cheaper
2008-04-26 - I just thought it would be wrong of me NOT to review this product, although I did not buy this particular one. If you buy each season individually, it's CHEAPER than buying the set, and the set (based on the product details) doesn't come with anything different. I highly recommend buying the seasons individually like I did. For the record though, I do like the show. Particularly the earlier episodes actually.

2008-04-05 - good product from amazon.com. the batman first four seasons on dvd is a new take on batman in the animated world mostly directed to children or young teens. this new animated series had the daunting task of following the emmy award winning batman the animated series. so all things considered i thought this group of people responsible for all aspects of the creation of this series did a good job of retooling the batman franchise and taking a new and fresh interpretation of the batman. i would recomend this product for children and diehard dark knight fans.

2007-12-28 - True to the current sweeping revisions at DC, this series allows both kids and adults to enjoy every episodes newances, while not forgetting the roots of the character. This is a great set to introduce newcomers to the characters as well. You get what you pay for with this set, well worth the money.
