Editorial Review:
Season 4 features a redesign of Bruce Wayne/Batman, that is more reminiscent of the DCAU (Bruce Timm) Batman. The season also introduces Dick Grayson as Robin (Evan Sabara) into the series as well as other characters such as Lucius Fox (Louis Gossett Jr.). More villains appear such as Tony Zucco (Mark Hamill), Killer Moth (Jeff Bennett), Black Mask (James Remar) & Number One (Diedrich Bader), Rumor (Ron Perlman), Everywhere Man (Brandon Routh), Harley Quinn (Hynden Walch), Francis Grey (Dave Foley), and a new Clayface (Wallace Langham). Batgirl returns this season as well, and is now officially part of Batman's team. Swoop onto this Deluxe 2-Disc Edition with All Season 4 Adventures plus Exciting Extras. The Batman - The Complete Fourth Season (DC Comics Kids Collection) Reviews:
The Batman #4
2009-12-21 - Introducing...ROBIN!!! In this 4th season, Batman has TWO sidekicks: Batgirl and Robin. Though this seems good, things get rough when these two youngsters begin to get jealous and fight for Batman's approval and attention. Batman must teach these two new members of his team to get alone and work together, so that together they can make Gothom a safer place.
Great series
2008-12-15 - My review is kind of biased, since I'm a Batman fanatic. This whole series is a must have! Even if Batman is not your favorite, this one is worth the buy. The animation is very pleasing to the eye, and just adds to the well written story lines.
I'm still not sure
2008-10-03 - The animation is gonna take some getting used to but the new versons of the villians and the stories are absolutly wonderful. We meet a young Bruce Wayne, only three years as the Batman and already crime has droped amazingly, but suddenly new and more powerful villians arrive then just the mob bosses the Batman is used to. Overall: a fun show.
Batman at his animated best.
2008-08-27 - After the third season, I was a little let down. The first was good, I loved the second, but the third just didn't live up to the two previous seasons. I was a little nervous about getting the fourth season but went ahead and did it anyways, and I must say that this is the best season so far. We get to see the introduction to Robin and it's GOOD. I have never liked Robin. I always thought that he contradicted the Batman so much, but in this series it seems to work. Batgirl is also better in this season than in the last. There are many additions to this season than just robin though. We also have a new Clayface, Killer Moth, Black Mask, and Harley Quinn, a Riddler back-story, a futuristic look on batman, a zombie episode, an alien episode, and the introduction to the Justice League.
Im also glad that they cut down on The Joker. I do like his character, but they were starting to overuse him and putting him in stupid situations (The Joker wannabe Bane episode). I was a little let down that there was not much catwoman, but that is something I can live with. I'm off to get Season Five and I hope that it's as good as this was.
My Top Five Episodes of this season.
1. Strange New World
2. The Joining 1 & 2
3. The Everywhere Man
4. Riddlers Revenge
5. Artifacts
The Batman TV season 4
2008-08-10 - This whole Batman series has great plots, gorgeous art, and is a wonderfully imaginative addition to the long Batman tradition! Rates five stars, AAA+++++
