Complicated Man
2008-01-02 - I'm glad the previous reviewer mentioned the bonus track 'Complicated Man'. It really is the best song in the CD, and I'm wondering why it's only a bonus track in the Japan Import version. Totally unique song with a different tempo and sound.

I only discovered it when Minnie Driver sang it in Carson Daly back in 2005, and after hearing it, I knew I had to get the Import CD. Now I see that it's again an itunes bonus track in her new CD 'Seastories'. She really needs to release it as a single and make several versions of it as it's her best song.

Beautiful Voice
2007-09-09 - Minnie has a beautiful voice and the songs she has written are beautiful too. I was never really a fan of this style of music but since I am a fan of Minnie's I gave it a try. The girl can sing. Unfortunately the songs, however beautiful, are somewhat dull and undistinguishable from the rest(except "Everything I've Got In My Pocket" and "Invisible Girl") and it took quite a while before I warmed up to them. Now they are very soothing to me. It is also unfortunate that the best song "Complicated Man" is only on the import version. I'm loving the sound of her voice in that and hope to hear more of that sound in the future. Very suiting. I wish the rest of the album was in that style. If I was rating on voice alone I would have gave 5 stars.
