wonderful family western
2009-08-24 - wonderful movie Tim Daly was excellent as bad guy turn good.the scene with baby sheep great.
A Very Moving Western
2009-07-28 - I was channel surfing and caught a bit of this movie and was hooked. The character development was very well done. Naomi Watts, torn between her love of her religious sect and her growing feelings for the gunman, Tim Daly, blossoms as she becomes as strong emotionally as she has been raising her son as a widowed mother. Mr. Daly shows more emotion with facial expressions - pain, longing, cold anger - than many actors are capable of with dialogue. The setting, supposed to be Montana but actually Australia! - is beautiful and adds natural music to the tale. All in all a great movie; after watching it on TV I bought both the DVD and the book. Enjoy both!!!!
Outstanding
2009-06-02 - The second the credits started to roll, I was on line looking to purchase this movie. It is one of the BEST western/romance stories I have seen and I am purchasing the book. Tim Daly is amazing as the gunfighter Johnny Gault and Naomi Watts is completely believable as the young woman torn between her love for the gunfighter and love of family and faith.
You won't be disappointed, this is a great movie.
Best Western I've Ever Seen
2009-05-05 - This movie is the best western I have ever seen. It has a awsome storyline to it. It is action, tension and romance all rolled up into one. If you have not seen it you are missing a great movie. Tim Daly and Naomi Watts both deserve five stars for their acting performance in this film. I have recommended this movie to several people that I know. It keeps your attenion from start to finish. Don't miss out on it.

Tim Daly turns out to be an actor with depth
2009-04-05 - While I've enjoyed Tim Daly as Joe in "Wings", I was pleasantly surprised at his depth in this role. The nuances he brought to his character were amazing. I can't understand why major studios & independents haven't picked up on his talent & appeal.
