Editorial Review:
When Neil Young seems about to zig, he zags. Two years after 1990's loud Ragged Glory, he retreats to an old world of steel guitars, gentle folk melodies, and pristine country choruses. (That's Linda Ronstadt, who helped make 1972's Harvest a hit album, singing backup on the follow-up.) Young name-drops Hank Williams, Jimi Hendrix, and his old dog, King, in rich reminiscences about the musical ride he and his fans have shared since the late '60s. The album, as Young sings in "One of These Days," is "a long letter to all the good friends I've known." --Steve Knopper

Great songs
2009-09-22 - Great Young songs and arrangements. Only complaint is the recording sounds somewhat diffuse or muddy.
Good Tunes
2009-08-03 - What an awesome singer. This CD is great. I had the cassette of it but I got tired of turning it over for side 2. I got the CD and I am very happy with it. I would definitly recommend this one, all the songs are great.
Harvest Moon
2009-06-18 - Harvest Moon being Neil Young's 1992 release and was met with good reviews by the critics. Allmusic giving it 3 1/2 and Rolling Stone 4 out of 5. I think this is a quite good album and I give it 3 stars since I can not give it 3.5 and 4 is a little much for this album. The album did quite well sales wise and peaked at #16 on the Billboard 200. 3/5.
Neil Young, Yeah!
2009-06-03 - Greatest Neil Young CD Ever! Lost my first copy a few years back and thought I would never hear it again. Checked Amazon and was pleased and surprised it could still be found. Good price, too.
