Nickelback have established themselves as one of the biggest rock bands in the world. With over 26 million albums sold worldwide they have made their mark in rock and roll history. Their new album, 'Dark Horse', is one of the most anticipated releases this year. The band brought in legendary producer Mutt Lange to produce the record with Nickelback and longtime collaborator Joey Moi.

Old 80's dude digs this record 
2009-11-09 - First, I am 41 years old and had heard Nickelback many times on the radio and thought they were really good, but never actually bought a CD from them until now. This is not my generation of music by any stretch of the means, butI grew up in the 80's and can hear some of the 80's distinct sound/characteristics influences on this record. I never knew Mutt Lange assisted in producing this record until reading later on down the line. You can definately hear his influence on this CD. I read some of the one star reviews bashing this CD because it sounds way mainstream/different. Some bands get bashed because every record sounds the VERY SAME. It's like a catch 22 when you happen to switch and you sound a little different or you have musical aspirations to expand a little wider and experiment a bit more. In conclusion, I liked at least 2-3 songs on every Nickelback record that has come out, but I must confess I like every song on this CD. Chad, you are a good/superb singer and you're band sounds AWESOME even to an old guy much like myself. Keep cranking the good songs out, and I am looking forward to the next CD with great anticipation.
They just grow on you
2009-11-03 - When I initially bought the CD I jammed to the first two tracks and didn't give the rest of the album much of chance and stopped listening to it till I saw them in concert in March. They are kick-ass and their music simply grows on you. Seriously, I didn't give it much of a chance so when it came out I would have given it a 3/4 stars but now I simply can't get enough. I went and saw them again in August. Great music. Buy it and give it a chance. Look what most of the reviews are...five stars. The majority give it five for a reason!

2009-11-01 - What an awesome CD!! It is great to be able to hear a few songs before purchasing, but if you know Nickelback you know it will be a great CD.

2009-10-22 - Nickelback's debut album was the best in my opinion and the rest since then have been playing catch up. This album has some really kickin' songs that really make you want to "Burn it to the ground" but some really make you want to put out the fire. It's not a bad CD and one you can listen to the whole way through but there are only a few really awesome songs. If you like Nickelback, get this CD. The 5 or 6 awesome tracks will be worth it if the radio doesn't wear them out.
Blown away
2009-10-19 - I am a 40 something female and listen to country,pop,rock,etc. I know this band has been around for awhile, but I have been in a country mode for the past few years. I liked this so much, I bought All the right reasons, which is even better. I like that I can understand the lyrics from this band.
