Amen, I'm Alive 
2008-02-25 - Nickelback's distinct sound always touches my soul, their lyrics in this song stood out to me, ...I'm alive.." As a person with chronic lymphoma any other time in history, I'd be dead & gone, but thank God for technology today. With one's mortality staring you in the face sometimes "hokey" lyrics tend to bring something out inside of you that is hard to explain, maybe it's the spirit of living and being able to listen to songs that reach in and grab something inside of you, making you realize life can be okay despite it's harshness.

2008-01-20 - Nickelback's "If everyone cared" has an interesting backstory. Originally, the Canadian hack band wanted to cut it from their "All the right reasons",but their fans revolted. Nickelback relented. Now,Top 40 Radio is subjected to their sappy,"socially conscious" song.
"If everyone cared" is a wannabe U2 anthem. However,it's so turgid that Bono wouldn't touch it,even with his protective wraparound glasses&mullet. There are naff lyrics such as "if everyone cared,if nobody lied,that would be the day nobody died." It's a very adolescent "NOBODY CARES!" to which one responds "I don't either" **shrug** It's a sappy,utopian song about everyone sharing&caring. Chad Kroeger is trying to write his own version of John Lennon's "Imagine",but lacks the late Beatle's talent. Imagine "Imagine" if it were written by a turgid,talentless hack&you've got "If everyone cared."
Not single song, but three great songs! 
2007-12-30 - This is great single, just wished it had been all the same song, but the other two songs they chose to go with it were great too. My fault. For the money and length of time the song plays I would get the mixed album with more songs, I JUST EXPECT WHEN YOU BUY SINGLE SONG THAT YOU GET SINLGE SONG OR DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THAT SONG.
Amazing Song
2007-05-21 - This song is amazing! I first heard it I liked everything about it! The lyrics are beautiful. It sounds just like the Paradise! I wonder if one of these guys is studying with Jehovah's Witnesses. It describes exactly what the new world wil be like!
