Editorial Review:
Japanese three CD pressing of the Industrial band's 2008 release features a bonus CD that contains commentary on the album by band leader Trent Reznor. Ghosts I - IV is a 36 track instrumental collection, almost two hours of music composed and recorded over an intense ten week period in the fall of 2007. Ghosts I - IV sprawls Nine Inch Nails across a variety of new musical terrains. Hostess.
Ghosts I-IV Reviews:
beautifully composed
2009-11-10 - This is such an ethereal, gorgeous collection of instrumental pieces. I listen to it several times per week in its entirety, usually while I am writing. As a long-time NIN fan, I am so pleased to experience this different side of them (although each piece contains elements that are classic NIN). It is a masterpiece. If you are a NIN fan there is no possible way you will dislike this. I'm really looking forward to more "ghosts" from Trent in the future!
Best NIN album since Downward Spiral
2009-10-03 - Ghosts is a great album, NIN hasn't seen an album of this magnatude since Downward Spiral came out. Very impressive ride that can easily make you sad or amped up. Tracks go very well in the order their put in.
Naming the Ghosts
2009-07-15 - I came up with these names for them. The ones with astericks are my favorites. I left out the tracks I don't like as much. Let me know if you got any other names, or your thoughts on the tracks.

As you may have noticed, the first 4 have a theme of dying and the after life, with you getting pulled by both the dark and light in the 4th song, but the theme seems to end after that.
REALLY grows on you
2009-05-23 - I'll admit, it took me a few listens, as I like the music, but each song is a very short single-themed piece which I wish had been maybe half the number of tracks with interwoven themes. That being said, it has become mandatory writing music, as the music builds soundscapes that are quite conducive to imagery. After listening to the SLIP (which includes "The Four Of Us Are Dying" - a superior instrumental that DOES mix themes), I'm quite intrigued to find out if/when Trent will do GHOSTS V-VIII. Of course, as I'm a die-hard NIN fan, I'd like him to do another three albums for purchase next week... but I think the poor man needs a nice long break.
Relaxed
2009-04-07 - For 5 bucks this is for really any NiN Fan. Not much already said about Nin's ghosts. I wanted to share a quick story what happen to me when I was listening to Ghosts. I fell alsleep to it , not sure which track it was but I was basecily in and out of a (Zombine sleep) when i was dreaming i was in a Torando. And it sounded like one. And woke my as* up.! It was just to bizzare!! And yea thats bascily it on that.
