Perfect Drug Reviews:
Not Availible 1 Star Review
2007-03-05 - Just buy "The perfect Drug Versions" and the original version is on iTunes, "Lost Highway Soundtrack" or one of the "We're in this Together" singles. These all all great songs, would be nice to have them all in once package...

Hypnotic and enjoyable--and complete. 5 Star Review
2006-03-30 - The Perfect Drug remixes are likely to throw off most un- and under-informed purchasers, who (as I have heard numerous times) were expecting something much more faithful the original version of the song that first appeared on the Lost Highway Soundtrack. That is not to say that the CD isn't good; far from it, it's quite innovative and fun to listen to. But like other NIN remixes (think Fixed or particular songs like "Piggy (Nothing Can Stop Me Now)"), The Perfect Drug goes far away from the original drum-and-bass recording of "The Perfect Drug" and opts for a much more rave-friendly, house electronica-inspired sound. Each track is drawn from a different artist, offering a diverse array of sounds that all tie in to a similar theme of the hypnotic electronic. I personally think that Meat Beat Manifesto's mix of the song is brilliant--perhaps the very best on the CD--but each track is worth several listens, although some take more patience than others depending on your stylistic preferences (I actually had the hardest time with the Nine Inch Nails version, but I've come to accept it).

For a Nine Inch Nails remix CD, this disc is very successful. I recommend it for any open-minded NIN fan and for those who have a penchant for dark electronica.

Amazing remixes 5 Star Review
2005-07-14 - This remix album is very interesting featuring 6 remixes. The first 2 are amazing and the NIN mix is great also.

good cd but we've had it before 5 Star Review
2000-09-26 - i give this one 5 stars because all the songs are great. but really... if you want the original mix of the perfect drug so badly why not just the import of the original halo eleven? same track listing and an actual halo... neither this cd or the into the void single qualify as halos, thus making them substandard material? i don't think they ever needed to be released at all.

What's the point? 2 Star Review
2000-08-15 - Okay, so I've read that this would be a great CD for serious NIN collectors. Of course, if you already ARE are a serious nin collector, then you'd have all these tracks already, wouldn't you? EVEN IF you didn't own "Lost Highway," the original version of Perfect Drug is on one of the WITTN discs (3rd one, I think.) Anyway, this release has irritated me as much as the last one (Into the Void), as it only has pre-released material. And before that, I had to buy 3 discs for a couple (weak) remixes. Trent, I love ya man, but come on here, we waited five years for this? Regurgitated material is seriously disappointing. Give us something more....
