better than expected
2005-04-26 - If you like the early pop psych work by Nirvana rather than their later prog stuff, you will probably like this CD.It holds up a lot better than I expected. I even liked the spoken word material. Some tracks are so so and the version of Rainbow Chaser here is terrible, but there is enough good material here to justify it's release.Pretty good CD really

A Mixed Bag!
2005-03-03 - This Nirvana release is a mixed bag of oddities, rarities and outtakes. Obviously this means that the CD may appear pretty uneven, and admittedly it took me quite some time to discover that it's actually a pretty strong release.

Some very interesting narration tracks by Patrick Campbell Lyons on Guy Stevens, Salvador Dali and Jimmy Cliff. Especially the track in Guy Stevens is moving and very memorable.

There is a fine rare Smoke recording of "Girl in the Park", one of the best Smoke recordings I have heard.

Many fine Nirvana compostions such as the alternate versions of "Rainbow Chaser" and "Tiny Goddess" "Crazy Hotel" ( with vocals reminding me of Jim Morrison ) and "We Can Make it Through".
