Editorial Review:
German edition of the hit boy pop vocal group's smash 1997 debut with five tracks NOT on the U.S. release, 'Best Of My My Life', 'More Than A Feeling', 'Together Again', 'Forever Young' and 'Riddle'. Also features different cover art than the American release. 14 tracks total. 1997 Trans Continental Records, Inc./ BMG Ariola release.

Description of *NSYNC:
Yes, it's another group of five young white boys making dance-influenced pop that makes the girls scream. Not only is the composition of this group familiar, their sound is almost a clone of fellow teenybopper dreams the Backstreet Boys. It's probably not surprising, considering that they share the same manager (who had all five members of '80s preteen scream machine New Kids on the Block as the best men at his wedding, natch). The resemblance is a little too close for comfort, however, with almost every track here mirroring one on the Backstreet Boys album. From the radio hit "I Want You Back" and the sugary harmonizing on ballads like "God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You" to the one-step-forward, two-steps-back approach to sex appeal on "Giddy Up," 'N Sync (or their producers) have crafted the perfect balance of catchy pop ditties and swoon-inducing slow jams. --Rebecca Wallwork

*NSYNC Reviews:
*NSYNC Has Got The Flow.......... 4 Star Review
2008-04-27 - The editorial above is quite negative in nature, for trying to sell an album. It's like going to a fast food joint, and having you second guess your meal choice, after they'd shown you something less than pleasing.
Being their first album it is decent for what it has to offer. The greatest tracks are those that focus on the group's vocal abilities. Unfortunately, this was often overlooked, as their singles full of energy over shadowed their feat. The release of "For The Girl Who Had Everything," few knew was a single. Despite negativity, *NSYNC became a fan favorite. People have slowly realized the band's talents. In concert the members instilled their desires to sing five part harmony, and well.

Awesome! I love NSYNC 5 Star Review
2005-06-20 - I think this debut album from NSYNC is awesome!! It shows great talent. I think people can tell that *NSYNC has something special about them. I think it's partially because of all the long hard dedicated hours they put into their work, and it shows. Another is because they put themselves together. They were all friends before they formed NSYNC. (the one who actually formed *NSYNC was the oldest member: Chris Kirkpatrick.) Justin and JC knew eachother from the MMC, and Chris and Joey were working at Disney,so they all saw eachother and became friends. Lance came from Justin's vocal coach. They have this sort of chemistry that no one else like them has.
This cd has great 5 part harmonies and fun up beat songs!
I definatley recommend this cd! BUY IT!! You won't regret it!

BsB watch out! 4 Star Review
2003-10-20 - When the creator of the Backstreet Boys wanted to satrt a new boyband the american record companies dit not want to have a BSB clone they said it wouldnt sell,so remebering that The Beatles once startdet there career in Germany he went overthere and got them a record deal and the guys choce there own name 'NSYNC, the flew allover Europe to record there self titeld debutfrom Sweden to Holland and Germany, the album became instand succses for the Guys and when BMG US heard of the stardom in Europe(most of all Germany and Holland) they desided to release it also in The US with some songs droped from it and a couple of new ones includin "I drive myself Crazy" no one thought they would ever beat the already popular Backstreet Boys but as it turne out the became even bigger, when after a dificulty in 1999 'NSYNC signd a new record deal with JIVE RECORD wich also has BSB under contract they were not happy that there rivals would now be under the same roof and since then every album release from both bands becomes a competion with NSyns always a few steps foreward. But BSB stil remains the best selling boyband worldwide ever! but now Justin is going solo it looks like Michael Jackson has competition because not only girls like his music but guys start to apreciate Timberlake also.

New tracks! 5 Star Review
2002-10-30 - I just want to say that I love this cd. even though it contains more of the older stuff that they have done, it still sounds cool. Plus, it has some new tracks that i found the words to, but never knew they existed. so that's cool too.

"Yes, yes, yes, here we go..." (throws tampons at the stage) 5 Star Review
2002-07-13 - "...Nsync has got the flow!" ... buy this CD solely 4 the awesome acapella "More Than a Feeling," the upbeat "Forevvvvvvver Young" & "Riddle," and don't forget the classic nsync songs on this cd (their 1st ever) as well. I <3 this cd.
