Editorial Review:
A fellow musician's interesting insight into the beginning of Ozzy Osbourne s solo career and his relationship with Sharon Osbourne. This exciting biography also clears a lot of misinformation and bogus theories circulating around the late, great, guitar virtuoso Randy Rhoads' life and death. Written by journeyman rock bassist Rudy Sarzo, this is a first hand account of Rudy s experience on the road with Ozzy and his Blizzard of Ozz band. This is the book Sharon Osbourne doesn't want you to read.
Off the Rails: Aboard the Crazy Train in the Blizzard of Ozz Reviews:
Rudy Rocks!
2009-09-21 - I have the pleasure of knowing Rudy Sarzo, and although this would not normally be a book I would read, found it to be an intriquing look at the life of a rock and roller in the 80s. Highly recommended!
good for Ozzy/rhodes fanatics only
2009-09-01 - A collection of stories. Not well written, but I love hearing insider info about old Ozzy and randy, so I liked it.
Rudy charges 4.00 for his autograph
2009-08-27 - In rudys face book link he charges 14.95 for off the rails. And 18.95 for an autograph copy is his autograph worth 4.00?
Honest and Awesome!
2009-08-04 - This book was so totally honest about life on the road with Ozzy and Randy. It made me also forget that Randy was gone and it broke my heart all over again when we lost him in the book. I would like to Thank Rudy for writing this book and sharing his memories of Randy With us.
