Under Cover Reviews:
Ozzy covers some oldies but goodies
2009-09-03 - Under Cover is Ozzy's turn to cover some older Artist's work.I know people bagged the hell out of this Album and i understand complaints on song choices and such but if you give it some credit youll see its rather good.Ozz delivers his best vox on "21st Century Schizoid Man" which he really made his and "Fire".But "Woman" and "Sunshine of Your Love" are two of my favorites.I dont see how people hated this album it's not the Definitive Ozzy collection but it is a good Album!
sadly a poor cover compilation
2009-08-20 - to listen to this is actually painful! Ozzy's vox are very apperently shot to hell and there is no Zak wylde instead you get jerry cantrell I like his work in AIC but here it lacks and ozzy's (I mean sharon's song choices suck badly)with a few exceptions but ozzy has actually covered better songs before born to be wild/purple haze/changes with kelly and more but this in sad don't waste you money, time and ears.
6 ft Under Cover
2007-12-06 - This is one of those CD's that you wished you never listened to. I'm not a singer and if dog's ever heard me sing they just wouldn't howl, they would eat me. My partner studied opera when he was in college, so he knows a thing or two about mixing voices and music together. He heard this and just started laughing. Every song just made him laugh louder and louder, he made me stop playing it cause he kept running out of breath to breathe. I listened to this at another time without him around. Ozzy has a distinctive voice, no one shall dispute that. Ozzy in his age has this woddle to his vocal cords that alot of singers have now and he should have his voice box examined. Most of these songs were put on his BOX SET labeled at "exclusive release". This album I would have felt cheated on if I had purchased it at full price. Since I bought it used, I don't feel so ripped off. The artist's and music industry complain about people Illegally downloading music, that they are stealing. Yes, those who do download without the intent of purchasing the CD they are downloading they are stealing, I agree. Ozzy should be paying the good people who wrote these songs when they are illegally downloaded, just for the simple fact that those who bought his BOX SET were decieved and should have been allowed to download these songs on here that were not on his BOX SET for free from a website that only those who bought the BOX SET. I'm really glad when it all comes down to it that I purchased this used just for the simple fact that I own all these songs except the ones that are only on this CD and if you want the royalty money for the songs that you get for them being on here, come and find me, I'm in the phone book.
True Ozzy Fans Love Everything He's Done. : )
2007-11-02 - This cd is alot of fun and I thoroughly enjoy it IMMENSELY!!!!! : )
Black Rain is incredible too.
I love everything he's ever done. Last year people were saying he should retire because his live performance sucked. Well people may be hearing me post all over about how much I love Ozzy and how I am so totally into the Black Rain cd. He remains a relevant and influential artist. I am the moderator of the OZZY OSBOURNE tribe on [...] . Check it out. TRIBE RULES!!! too by the way. : )
Eeeeeee Heeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BOINK!!!
Mr. M
Oh the songs in his head
2007-03-07 - I think the reviewers, who are definetly Ozzy and Black Sabbath root fans miss the point of this cd. This is a goof for Ozzy and these are probably the songs that he has really liked over the years and probably listen to either outside or inside his head. He just had to sing them. Lighten up and enjoy them. It's Ozzy the master of the absurd
