Paula's Thriller Album 
2009-09-12 - "Forever your Girl" is probally the greatest dance record ever.All of the cuts are fantastic.The first time I heard "Straight Up," I knew this was a HIT,but when I saw the video,I was blown away.Paula Abdul had what they call IT.
If I was only to have a couple records from the 80's,this would be one of them.
Guiltless pop. 
2009-01-15 - Forever Your Girl by Paula Abdul is the ultimate pop dance album of the '80s. Paula's voice has never been strong but her delivery and execution of these songs is amazing. Songs like Knocked Out, Opposites Attract, The Way That You Love Me, Straight Up!, Forever Your Girl, and Cold Hearted were all hit songs and Paula's dance ability didn't hurt either thanks to her videos. Check this trip down memory lane cd out sometime!
You'll be surprised
2009-01-13 - I titled this review "You'll be surprised" because this album surprised me. I listen to it recently after about 15 years and it is surprisingly good. Its good upbeat pop music with a funky groove. It actually has stood up to the test of time.
Best Effort
2008-01-12 - I recently replaced my cassette version of this album. The song opposites attract which also became a Coke jingle seemed to indicate that Paula Abdul would have a future in pop music. Instead she became just a figure of pop culture. But the album shows she did have some talent unlike pop princesses like Brittany Spears and Miley Cyrus. What Paula will be remembered for instead is being the nice judge on American Idol.

2007-12-30 - OMG. Paula takes me back to 5th grade. She was also a staple at school dances. I grew up with Paula! I haven't listened to Paula since about them but I just bought the "Spellbound" CD and I remembered all the favorites and every lyric. Does anyone else remember the Paula Abdul Barbie Dance VHS tape that came out about the same time? My sister and I played it nonstop and had every move down cold!
Yeah, she's not DMB. She's not supposed to be. But if you were a girl growing up in the late 80's you loved Paula and listening to her brings back great memories, no matter if "Blowing Kisses in the Wind" no longer passes for a serious love song in your life.
Paula, you go !
