Elton 60: Live at Madison Square Garden Reviews:
Where are the drums?!!
2009-10-19 - Elton's music has always had the punch of strong, loud drums. On this disc, Nigel's drums are mixed low, relegating the sound to that of a lounge act rather than a rock and roll band. How utterly tragic! How did this go unnoticed?!!
Great Concert
2009-09-24 - For any Elton John fan or anyone who likes him, this is a great concert video to own. I bought the bluray version and it is just fantastic. The clear sharp images and color come thru great on bluray and the sound is like being there. This is a video which you watch watch several times and show your friends. I first rented it on Netflix and I just had to have it. You will not be disappointed.
A Must Own Concert For The Elton Fan
2009-08-30 - I have seen Elton perform many times and enjoyed every show especially the solo concerts. I find it amazing this entertainer at the age of 60 can put on such a great show lasting over 3 hours long. It was great hearing many tunes that are not traditionally played at his concerts instead of just the hits. The band sounded great. The production quality is outstanding. Elton was in a great mood and seemed very appreciative of his fans. All in all, an outstanding show!
It is quite extraordinary
2009-08-30 - Elton John is by far my best loved and admired artist, singer and composer. It is amazing how he preserved and developed the musical ideas that constitute the very soul of rock that stems out of 50-60-70. Year after year, album after album, each and every song is unique, technically rich, melodically rich, superb. The stupendous musicality of his music and performance is second to none as a professional level of Elton's performances.
This blu-ray is a great treasure as a quality of media eventually on a par with excitement of performance and sound track is vivid, very alive, great. Best to be enjoyed with good sound system attached.
Elton 60 Live At Madison Square Garden
2009-08-22 - This video is worth every penny. It is Elton John at his absolute best. It also includes unseen footage that was recorded at different concerts through out England
This is a must have for any Elton John fan.
