From gigs in tiny church halls in the mid-sixties to multimillion-selling albums and spectacular stadium shows all around the world, the Pink Floyd story is a pop legend.
Pink Floyd: In the Flesh combines, for the first time, a detailed listing of every single Pink Floyd show with a biographical account of the band's collective and individual careers.
Illustrated throughout with scores of previously unpublished photographs and a wealth of rare graphic memorabilia, including posters, advertisements, handbills and tickets from every era of the band's remarkable thirty-year history.
Pink Floyd: In the Flesh: The Complete Performance History Reviews:
Live Pink Floyd collectors MUST HAVE!
2007-01-07 - If you collect Pink Floyd live performances, this book is a must have. There are great sources on the internat, but this is the best coherent compilation of performance dates/locations and setlists.
Give me a break
2005-07-07 - Whomever wrote all the reviews before this one can take a break now. It's obvious that all reviews to this point were written by the same person, clever names and different dates, locations notwithstanding.
I wonder what this book is really like?
Performance review
2003-06-13 - A truly amazing work obviously written by a true fan with a bad performance review. The statistical effort needs some urgent B2 coaching in order to reach the dizzy heights at the top of the "Group of Six".
It seems that the authors have gone the extra mile in order to keep it authentic with a generous amount of time off work donated by their respective employers or was work manager involved?
Excellent.
Saturday Author
2002-02-08 - A very fine piece of work. This must have been writtenon Saturdays.....
I don't see any reference to Doris Jones in the credits!!
Work Experience
2000-10-04 - A truly excellent piece of work. It surely justifies a much higher asking price.
However I do wonder how much credit should go to BT for all the generous time they donated to the project. I did not see them listed in the credits for the book.
The seven layers were very puzzling, but obviously the authors knew their significance.
Overall a very fine complete history of the band
