Limited Edition Japanese pressing of this album comes housed in a miniature LP sleeve. 2008.
Description of Dark Side of the Moon:
Dark Side of the Moon, originally released in 1973, is one of those albums that is discovered anew by each generation of rock listeners. This complex, often psychedelic music works very well because Pink Floyd doesn't rush anything; the songs are mainly slow to mid-tempo, with attention paid throughout to musical texture and mood. The sound effects on songs like "On the Run," "Time" and especially "Money" (with sampled sounds of clinking coins and cash registers turned into rhythmic accompaniment) are impressive, especially when we remember that 1973 was before the advent of digital recording techniques. This is probably Pink Floyd's best-known work, and it's an excellent place to start if you're new to the band. --Genevieve Williams

2009-11-30 - haters are absolutely disgraceful. this is the best album of all time. if you haven't heard this album then a peice of your soul is missing. litterally perfect music. this album changed my life forever and it'll change yours too. and the haters can say that this didn't help tem all they want, because i did the same to yours!
Gotta love ya pink
2009-11-23 - The album Dark Side Of The Moon, by Pink Floyd is truthfully a foaming filling to the deep and dark crevasses of the human mind. Mentally healing is another way I would put it, intricately made as a whole to fit as if it were a jigsaw puzzle. Not only a mentally healing experience, a mentally stimulating experience. It challenges your right and left side of the brain, the cool exotic sounds are modified and are made trance like to keep you in an everlasting upbeat, good, relaxed mood. If you feel like a real treat you need a prescription of track number four titled Great Gig In The Sky, socks it to you hard. This album should be founded by the government to place on every persons door step with a copy of Wizard Of Oz and a little wacky tabacky, maybe we can get some comic relief instead of the ever so serious world wide attitude people carry with them every day. Take a seat and let this album cure you.
One of the greatest records of the 20th century...
2009-11-22 - There is a reason this album has been on best-selling lists for what is now about 35 years: it's a masterpiece--timeless and perfect. Definitely in my top 3 of all time. If for some reason you are reading this review and you have not given this album a proper listen, then set aside an hour. Preferably somewhere you can be undisturbed and listen on either a high-quality stereo or with good headphones. And smoke some if you got some--it will only enhance the experience.
For my money, Dark Side of the Moon is Pink Floyd's most highest masterpiece--hypnotic, other-worldy, melodic, and beautiful.
The most beautiful thing I have experienced and Im 14.
2009-10-18 - The Dark Side of The moon...contains lyrics and music that will blow you away into a world full of mystery. This world is called "beautiful music" sure they didnt have the catchy songs the beatles had, but compared to Pink Floyd pfffff poor beatles and I love the beatles but man, Pink floyd is too much. Now to say if you read this please see the one star reviews there you will find idiots that like Lil wayne or some other piece of crap music that is played these days. im 14 if you like Pink Floyd u have good taste I wish i was born in the 50s to have experienced all of the epic music by Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Queen, Bob Dylan and many many many many moreeee.
