2. Been Around the World [Radio Mix] - Diddy,
3. Get Off [Explicit Version] - Diddy, , Mase
Editorial Review:
Australian pressing of the new single by the artist formerly known as Puff Daddy. The phenomenon that is P. Diddy is back - with an explosive new single 'Come To Me' featuring Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls). Produced by P. Diddy himself and Richard 'Younglord' Frierson, this is the first track to be lifted from the hotly anticipated album Press Play (his first studio album in five years!). Features 'Come To Me', 'Been Around The World' (Remix) and 'Get Off (Dirty)'. Bad Boy. 2006.
Come to Me Reviews:
Turn Up Your Speakers ---> Press Play
2009-11-20 - "Come To Me" is from P. Diddy's album titled Press Play. This Australian Import comes housed in a slim-line jewel case and features the title track backed by two excellent highly charged rap selections. If you love to dance, listen to rap, or just get in the mood, then this will definitely take you there, just press play!
The first track, "Come To Me [Explicit Version]" features Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls. It has the fabulous dance styles, heavy bass, excellent take turn vocals by Diddy and Nicole, and wonderful hypnotic night club sounds. The back and forth chase between Nicole and Diddy are sure to make many feel intrigued.
The second track, "Been Around The World [Radio Mix]" featuring Mase showcases rap styles bringing about issues of having been around the world from popping Champagne, having a beach house, owning a Mercedes, to never stopping no matter what. All the expensive places, people, and things are just small representations of the many grand accomplishments. The mix contains a flowing back and forth type style that highlight the meanings behind the song nicely. The rap has keyboard instruments, drums, as well as other enhancements that make the music sound fresh!
The third track, "Get Off"[Explicit Version], is my favorite for the highly charged vocals, James Brown style singing, and energetic tempos that just intensify and elevate to the point of shouting and yelling with excitement. There are jazzy horns, drums, high bass-lines, synthesizers, and plenty of rap. The party is in the streets corners, and the people can't get enough; they don't want the party to stop! The song mentions Harlem a lot and the claps, horns, and music go extremely fast and non-stop not having much of a pause sure to get many into a funk!
If you love to dance up a storm, and hear some excellent rap then this is for you! Let the music take you down party-lane, dance until you drop, or press play and feel the moods.
Was misinformed about the version of this single!
2008-12-16 - The beat to this song was great, but I was misinformed about the version of this cd. It was the explicit version and I always prefer the edited version. I had to end up giving it to my co-worker. Other than that, the beat is great!
