2009-09-27 - The Pussycat Dolls may cause quite a stir of emotions, both positive and negative, however when it comes to music it's obvious their sounds are entertaining, enjoyable, and fun! This single is from England, comes housed in a slim-line jewel case and is from the album "The Pussycat Dolls". The 2 songs will be sure to get you feeling on top of the world! It's all about attitude!
"I Don't Need A Man" (LP Version 3:39) has a nice chorus of vocals, rhythmic sounds, dance styles, and lyrics. There's nothing more vibrant and fascinating than to feel free and unattached! The hints of earlier eras when disco music was huge is also a plus. There are horns, piano, bass, fast paced tempos, some R&B, and much soulful dance sounds. This is an excellent song for the liberated, self-confident individual who can feel like a million bucks alone! It's for those who can embrace being single without fear, worries, or care in the world! And if you don't feel that way be sure to play this and take yourself far away from your worries and closer to the reality! Being single is phenomenal and advantageous! Let the music take you there!
The second song, "We Went As Far As We Felt Like Going" (LP Version 3:50) has more funk R&B dance vibes. The vocals are deeper, stronger, and more intense. This has a portion of the song "Take Your Time (Do It Right)" taken from the artist Patti LaBelle. There is soulful singing from the girls; Lead vocals are by Nicole Scherzinger and additional vocals are by Melody Thornton, Carmit Bachar, and Kaya Jones. The fast paced tempos, hints of disco, and beats just enhance the feeling of standing strong against any doubts of someone or something not going as you planned.
