Happy People (Enhanced) Reviews:
The Genius of Our Time
2004-08-01 - Pound for musical Pound the Baddest Musician on the Planet. you feel His soulful presentation&he breaks down parts&Bits of past Songs but put's His Musical stamp over it. you feel Frankie Beverly&maze,O'jays,Stevie Wonder coming through on "Happy People" but you got R.kelly just paying Respect&doing His thing.Happy People is a Feel Good track&the Feel Good Era music Making of R.Kelly just adds another Notch to His Musical Legacy.Touched a Dream is on here&that song is smoking period. what seperates R.kelly from the rest of the Pack is that Musically He can beat you so many ways but yet He keeps it so simple but yet He brings so much to the table. Can't wait for the Double Set that is coming. nobody can touch Him Musically. He is the Best.
another Classic from the Modern Day Genius
2004-06-13 - R.kelly did it again.another Classic steppers Cut.and while "Happy People" sounds like "step in the Name of Love" there is a difference in the overall vibe.this One has more Peep overall.also if you pay close attention R.kelly is thinking many Past Legends of R&B be it through His Vocal Stylings or saying out parts. His Chorus Vocals remind me of Frankie Beverly.I hear Him channeling Him&also the O'jays.I also like how he breaks it down using stevie Wonder's "Do I Do" part.this is the Genius of our time Musically. He is the Baddest Musician on the Planet today.I can't wait for the Double Album coming soon.still stepping.Props to the King.
