If I Could Turn Back the Hands of Time Reviews:
LOVE THIS SONG
2005-11-03 - I had to call the radio station to find out who the artist was on this song. I'm not an R Kelly fan per se, but this song is so beautiful, I had to know who sang it. I love it!!
When you burn in Hell - THIS will be playing.
2005-08-04 - Everyone's favourite comedy kiddie-fiddler really pulled out all the stops on this single. This could well be the worst song ever written, a shameless rip-off of Unchained Melody, you wonder if maybe Kelly is taking the p**s, because it's SO bad, so cringe-worthy, you're half expecting it to turn up on the sequel to Team America.
But, no. He's being serious, and for every "Ooooooh" garbled sound effect he gives, every meaningful look he gives to the camera in the vomit-inducing video, you just know he's thinking "man, I gotta score me some jail-bait tonight".
Awful, awful, awful. Burn every copy you see.

2003-11-11 - This CD is a two-track single. It contains the original album versions of If I Could Turn the Hands of Time, 6 minutes 18 seconds, and dancing with a rich man, 3 minutes 28 seconds. Awesome single cover of r kelly.
Produced, Written, and Arranged by R. Kelly. He plays all the instruments on these songs. The executive producer is Barry Hankerson. Background vocals on if i could turn back are done by R. Kelly, Sparkle and Bruce Kelly. Mixed by R. Kelly and Stephen George at the Hit Factory NYC.
Very nice song!!!
2003-01-20 - I don't remember when I first heard this song, but I do remember the time when it happened. I had just left my 4 month girlfriend to go live in another state with my parents...I really had no control of the separation.
Well, back to the song...I'd say it's a really smooth, uplifting & could say, sad song. Makes you think about a lot of things when it refers to your significant other.
I bought the cd right away and listened to it for hours.
I do recommend it if you like R Kelly and if you are into "slow jams" and R&B.
If I Could Turn Back the Hands of Time : By R. Kelly
2001-09-27 - Are we talking about the Radio version of the song or the one on the Album "R"? The Album "R" version is not my cup of tea. The radio version is a great R&B sound of the old school (circa 1960s). I have not paid any attention to Pop music since the middle 1980s. But the radio version of 'Turn Back the Hands of Time', blew my mind. I came of age in the late 50s - early 60s so there are many roads I wish I would have taken. This song says it all for me and probably for many of my generation. It great to hear a young black Artist going back to his R&B roots and not down the dead end streets of Hip-Hop. So if you are still out there Ernestine (of East San Jose CA) and can recall 1961, this song is my apology to you for not coming back to America for so many years.
