Editorial Review:
UK pressing. This 13-track album features a collection of Top 10 UK hits including 'Negotiate With Love', the defiant, breezily self-confident 'So Good' and smash hit 'Some Girls'. Come and Get It is brimming with an exciting and eclectic selection of songs. Working closely with a few of the UK’s hottest talents including Richard X, Rob Davis, former S Club collaborators Jewels & Stone, and, in something of an Alisha’s Attic reunion, both Karen and Shelley Poole, Rachel has made an album she’s really proud of. From the frenetic 'Crazy Boys' to the melodic tour de force of 'Nothing Good About This Goodbye' to the electro laced ballad 'I’ll Be There' and the sultry, dirty bassline of 'Je M'Appelle' and her forthcoming single, 'I Said Never Again', a sex-with-your-ex anthem whose pummelling glam beats conjure an image of Suzi Quatro duetting with Adam & The Ants. Come And Get It is an album for anyone who appreciates pop music at its best. Universal. 2005.

Come and Get It Reviews:
A+ 4 Star Review
2009-05-09 - Much better than her debut, and I'm totally in love with the first track "So Good", Excellent choice for an opening. The Pop/Rock track "I Said Never Again" is the main reason I purchased this album after hearing it on her website for the very first time. Overall "Come And Get It" is a cute album if you love Pop and/Or Dance Music. It's Pop/Dance music with a Mild R&B flavour and a semi-electronic vibe. I took off an extra star for the five out thirteen songs that are dull and fall flat- those songs happen to be "I Will Be There" "It's All About Me" "Ja M'Appelle" & "Every Little Thing", Five out of thirteen isn't too bad in my book. "Negotiate With Love" "Dumb Dumb" "Funny How" "Nothing Good About This Goodbye" including the two I mentioned earlier Are the standouts. If you're into Other Pop/Dance starlets such as "Girls Aloud" "Sugababes" "The Saturdays" "Annie (Norwegian)" "Holly Valance" or "Victoria Beckham" then "Come And Get It" suits you well.

Best Album by a female singer 5 Star Review
2009-03-16 - This is by the far the best album I heard by any female singer. I enjoyed her first album, but this album blew me away with the quality. Rachel has a lot of vocal versatility and this album proves it. What makes Rachel's voice special is that not only does she have very good vocal strength, she is also accurate at hitting notes at a flawless rate. She can sing ballads as well as the fast paced music. This album has a good combination of ballads as well as the fast paced music. Although this album did not get big of push by the record industry nor get praised, it is truly a high quality album as Rachel is one of the many no-namers who do not get the attention she deserves. Stevens style of music is similar to Kylie Minogue and Marie Serneholt. It is a bit corny at times, but none-the-less addicting, especially her fast paced sound. She has a flawless voice and is one of the best at performing quality dance pop music. Unfortunately for her, she does not get the credit she deserves. So if you are exploring for a dance pop album of somebody who is not well known as an established singer, this is the album for you because Stevens can produce and be an effective performer in music quality, which I find more entertaining to listen to then a Britney Spears, who is a rather inconsistent super star that produces only a handful of good tracks on her albums, whereas Rachel definitely produces one track after another of quality music. She is defiantly the singer to go after when it comes to dance pop.

FLAWLESS!!! ALMOST 5 Star Review
2007-07-18 - Rachel's second album is a complete jem. It is flawless for the fact that the songs on the album are all great, but the only thing that really upsets me and other fans, as I've read that the 3 B-sides that were on the 3 singles are definitley 3 amazing songs. (Never Go Back, Waiting Game & Queen).
Well heres what I think about the rest of the album.

1. So Good 10/10- Great song definitley a good choice as the lead single.
2. I Said Never Again- 10/10 So cool, and has a great rock feal
3. Crazy Boys 9/10- Cool, but strange beat.
4. I Will Be There- 10/10 Great song and a terrific disco-like ballad
5. Negotiate With Love- 10/10 A terrific song and awesome lyrics
6. All About Me 7/10- The weakest song on the album but still good
7. Secret Garden 9/10- Cool song and rachel's voice is amazing
8. Nothing Good About This Goodbye 11/10- The best song on the album, with just great beat after great beat
9. Some Girls- 9/10- From funky dory, still a good electro song
10. Je M'Appelle- 10/10 The dark, catchy french song, that is sooo awesome
11. Funny How- 9/10 Cool song and weird lyrics
12. Every Little Thing- 10/10 So incredibly catchy, 2nd best song
13. Dumb, Dumb- 9/10- Cool and catchy

Top 5 Songs (In Order)
1. Nothing Good About This Goodbye
2. Every Little Thing
3. I Will Be There
4. Negotiate With Love
5. So Good

as close to a perfect album there is... 5 Star Review
2007-07-11 - it might sound like hyperbole, but rachel steven's fantastic album, 'come and get it' is a terrific, terrific pop album. how this album sank in the UK is perplexing at best. how she's not a worldwide mega-superstar is incomprehensible. she's got everything going for her: the looks (yes, she's gorgeous. i'm a red-blooded heterosexual male. i can't help it), the charisma, the voice, and most importantly, the songs.

and what great songs they are. in fact, it's hard not to think of this as a greatest hits album. it's one smash it after another. it was a coup by stevens' camp (whether is was her label, reps, or herself) to get richard x to helm this album. he brings a tremendous amount of sophistication to stevens' songs. and maybe more importantly, he's got enough street cred to build a city around. i think just about any artist would be thrilled to work with him. so stevens is fortunate. richard x smartly avoids sugar pop and aims for sophisticated, catchy, and credible pop songs. thankfully, it's a massive success. no, rachel stevens isn't goldfrapp, but she's pretty close. and that's pretty remarkable considering she was a member of s club 7 and its garden variety pop fluff. the songs are expertly composed and arranged. the melodies immediately memorable. the production slick without crumbling the weight of its own pretensions.

but 'come and get it' shouldn't be misconstrued as richard x pulling rachel stevens' strings and that she's simply a pop puppet. as previously mentioned, she's got charisma and spunk in spades. 'some girls,' 'i said never again (but here we are),' 'negotiate with love,' and 'nothing good about this goodbye' are perfect showcases for stevens and her voice. they're all absolute corkers. (and it's pretty ballsy to sample the cure as she does on 'all about me).

the album is also delightfully devoid of syrupy and overblown ballads. as close as you'd come to a ballad is 'i'll be there,' which isn't really a ballad at all (but it does have the best chorus on the entire album, imho). it's all dance all the time.

if you're a fan of goldfrapp (this is every bit as good as 'supernature') or kylie, 'come and get it' will blow you away. i know that's lofty praise, but it's that good. don't let her pedigree get in the way. take this album for what it is: a perfect pop album.

in a perfect world we'd have a lot more rachel stevens and a lot fewer britneys, lindsays, and christinas. we'd all be better off for it.

i'll say it again: how is she NOT a mega-superstar?
