Editorial Review:
Warner Brothers Constantine (Blu-ray)In the grand scheme of theological thrillers, Constantine aspires for the greatness of The Exorcist but ranks more closely with The Order. Based on the popular Hellblazer comic book series, and directed with nary a shred of intelligence by music video veteran Francis Lawrence, it's basically The Matrix with swarming demons instead of swarming machines. Keanu Reeves slightly modifies his Matrix persona as John Constantine, who roams the dark-spots of Los Angeles looking for good-evil, angel-devil half-breeds to ensure that "the balance" between God and Satan is properlymaintained. An ancient artifact and the detectivetwin of a woman who committed evil-induced suicide (Rachel Weisz) factor into the plot, which is taken so seriously that you'll want to stand up and cheer when Tilda Swinton swoops down as the cross-dressing angel Gabriel and turns this silliness into the camp-fest it really is. The digital effectsare way cool (dig those hellspawn with the tops of their heads lopped off!), so if you don't mind ajuvenile lesson in pseudo-Catholic salvation, Constantine is just the movie for you!

Constantine [Blu-ray] Reviews:
Exellent
2009-11-05 - The product came just as it was promoted and even earlier than expected, very good service.
Received wrong product
2009-11-02 - I ordered Constantine and got another DVD instead. I shipped back Constantine at shippers request. Haven't received Constantine yet. Please credit my credit card as it's been to long. I no longer want the DVD.
Thanks, Al Pins
Constantine a classic
2009-10-03 - I have always liked Constantine. This is the second set I have bought. The first was worn out. The storyline is different and full of little twists. Keanu Reeves, does another stunning job of acting.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
Cheers.............Shane (Australia)
Constantine Excellent Movie
2009-09-23 - Constantine is a great movie. It is based on the comic book series Hellblazer, and is about a Con-man/Magician. In the movie, Constantine played by Keanu Reeves, is hired to investigate a suicide, that leads him into the middle of a war between Heaven and Hell. It is a solid movie, one of my favorite Comic book to movie adaptation. The Visual effects are intense, and the story keeps you interested. If you have never read the comic, the movie does a good job on its own. A suggestion would be to pick up the comic and read it before you watch this movie, so it is more enjoyable.
Great Movie, needs a sequel
2009-09-18 - The movie catches your attention from the start, never dull and just full of good effects like others
