Editorial Review:
Great packaging of audio/video with 5.1 digital sound, plus a huge ammount of photographs. The concert was recorded at Nimes on the South of France in an old Roman amphitheater in front of 12500 fans.
Völkerball Reviews:
Entertaining
2009-10-04 - The music of the CD is the same on the DVD. I originally had problems with the DVD as it would freeze up on occassion. Can't tell you how ticked I was, thought about sending it back. But after running it a few time, it plays like a charm. Watched the DVD several times, toe tapping all the way through. Wondered what they were like in concert, wasn't disappointed.
Great Live Concert
2009-04-15 - Rammstein is the greastest German band. Extremely interesting lyrics and poserful music. The stage show is unlike anyone else.
A great DVD/CD
2009-01-11 - Awesome band and kicking music! They also have real love and respect fot their fans.
Dedicated Rammstein Fan..
2009-01-05 - Firstly, the audience in this live version of Rammstein's biggest hits is awesome! The sound and recording was great, this is a heavier version of Rammstein's classic songs.
The highlights in this album are:
Mein Teil - Till lowers and growls his voice even more to bring a live eerie feeling to this cannibal song. The version of this song on this tour was amazing.
Links - drop the tuning somemore and have it out the heavier R+ way. This version of this song will definately get your head moving.
Los - the song on the cd is all acoustic. Near the end of this song, they put the acoustics away and they jam this out, classic R+ style. The riff and beat is awesome!
Du Hast - the audience really gets into this one. And from what I heard, I think they tuned the guitars down just a tad bit more to give a heavier sound that floats through the audience. Awesome awesome version of this classic.
Stripped - one of the first times this song has been recorded live and put onto a cd, not sure why.. it sounds great live.
The auditorium like environment they performed in provided a good echo for the instruments; that in turn provided a heavier and more raw sound to they're new heavier style.
The DVD was awesome! The concert footage from different parts of the world is real interesting and fun to watch, each place has a different way of expressing they're love for these guys.
This next album is going to rock!
As good as it gets
2008-09-15 - Came in a timely manner. condition as advertised. Not much else but then again it is what I asked for.
