The Gambler V: Playing For Keeps: Kenny Rogers is Brady Hawkes, a famous gambler whose only game in life is to find his son, Jeremiah, who has left a prestigious university and has been spotted running with Butch and Sundance's "Wild Bunch," the wanted gang of thieves on the run from the Pinkerton detective agency. On a tip from a convicted associate of Butch and Sundance, Hawkes heads to Ft. Worth to see Fanny Porter -- the city's most prominent madam and friend of the gang. 2009-11-13 - Purchase the other three here at AMAZON. Then get this set & you got the perfect finish to your complete collection!! & Playing for keeps is the pefect ending to the gambler saga!!! Im not going to be like other people & give the story away. All i can say is in The gambler returns he is still on his way to San Fancisco! Which is why i loved these Gambler movies the story keeps going in each one!!!

2005-08-12 - We really enjoyed these movies. If you like westerns you will like them. If you like Kenny Rogers you will enjoy them too. They are as good as when they were made in the 80's. we sent to the U.S. for the dvd's as we couldn't get them in Australia. We have a dvd player that plays Zone 1 [U.S] as well as Zone 4[Aus]. Great family entertainment. Lots of action and fun. We want to get the other films in this series /I think there are 4 more. Lots of familiar faces in them too! You won't be dissapointed. Add them to your collection!
