Editorial Review:
This is Reba McEntire's dazzling roots-tinged sequel to My Kind of Country and her debut collaboration with superstar Nashville producer Jimmy Bowen. It also marks the singer's first time out as coproducer of her own material. These changes, combined with the fact that McEntire was in the final years of a tumultuous marriage, explain the pathos she brings to songs like "'She's Single Again," "The Great Divide," and "Only in My Mind." --Bob Allen

Have I Got A Deal For You Reviews:
HER VERY BEST: EVEN CASUAL COUNTRY FANS WILL LOVE THIS 5 Star Review
2009-08-31 - I am not really a country music fan, but I have listened to Reba my whole life, because I really like her voice and the lyrics to her songs. This album, in my opinion, is Reba's absolute best. I remember 20 years ago reading that "Rolling Stone" magazine called this a classic album, and gave it 5 stars (very rare for them). I was intrigued, and was not disappointed. Every song is catchy, well played, and sung with Reba's trademark heart (much more on display back then than now). All the songs are great, with highlights being: "She's single again," "Only on my mind," as well as the title cut. However, they're all great, and rest assured, this is PURE country, not pop infused at all. Even though I own very little country music, I like the classics (Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, etc..) and this album, and other early Reba albums, rank right up with the best of them.

Check it out, and if you're new to Reba, buy this one and "Greatest Hits Vol. 1." It showcases what made her a star; she used to sing wonderful, twangy country, and she did it with heart.

awesome 5 Star Review
2009-01-10 - I gave this a Christmas present and she loved it. She is a Reba fan and cannot get enough Reba.

THIS ONE IS REALLY GOOD!! 5 Star Review
2005-10-05 - This CD is one of Reba's best!! Highly Recommended!!

ARGUABLY ONE OF HER BEST!! 5 Star Review
2005-09-23 - Reba's first attempt at producing was top notch all the way resulting in one of the best albums of her career! At a time when country music was indefinable, she redefined it and made us take notice. Country music was a tradition that was dying out and she revitalized it and this album is a great example of it. THe songs? Not one loser in the bunch! All are fantastic!

COUNTRY DOWN TO THE LAST NOTE!!! 5 Star Review
2005-09-23 - Forget all her other albums! This is the one and only true "Country" that Reba has ever done and every song on here is to be savored...just like good corn on the cob with lots of butter and a nice piece of apple or pecan pie!! Yum, yum!!
