Moments & Memories: Best Of Reba McEntire Reviews:
MOMENTS & MEMORIES:BEST OF REBA
2001-12-20 - THIS IS THE BEST COUNTRY CD THERE IS, IT JUST BRINGS OUT THE BEST OF EVERY SONG. REBA SHINES IN THIS MAGNIFICENT TITLE I CAN HONESTLY SAY THIS IS A FIVE STAR ALBUM!!!
Reba at her best.
2001-08-26 - I am an avid fan of Reba, her powerful voice always gets me singing along to her songs. One song in particular on this magnificent album Is Does He love You in which Reba duets with the equally talented Linda Davis. I loved this album because of the mixture of love songs that move you, and upbeat country songs that get your feet tapping. I highly recommend you to buy this Cd. You won't be dissapointed, I wasn't.
Fantastic CD
2000-12-10 - This is a great CD. I also own Reba's Moments and Memories Canadian edition, but I had to buy this one too. "What If" is only available on this CD as far as I know and it's an incredible song. This CD contains the best of many of her songs together on one album. It is a must have for any Reba fan.
MAYBE NOT THE COMPLETE SET
2000-04-09 - I THINK THAT THIS IS THE SINGLE BEST BUY THAT YOU CAN MAKE.THE C.D. MAY COST $27.00(U.S. CURRENCY) BUT IT IS SAVING YOU 70-80 OR EVEN 90 DOLLARS BECAUSE TO GET THESE HITS YOU WOULD HAVE TO BUY SEVERAL C.D.'S.THIS HAS A RANGE OF HER GREATEST HITS ON IT.THERE IS ONLY ONE NOTABLE DISAPPOINTMENT AND THAT IS THE ABSENCE OF STARTING OVER AGAIN AND IF I HAD ONLY KNOWN,BUT THE PRESENCE OF WHAT IF DEFINITELY MAKES UP FOR IT.IT HAS A COLLECTION OF HER BIGGEST HITS, BUT MIXES THEM WELL WITH HER ALL-TIME CLASSICS,(WHOEVERS IN NEW ENGLAND) AND OTHERS IS FABULOUSLY BLENDED WITH HITS SUCH AS DOES HE LOVE YOU AND FANCY.ANOTHER NOTABLE ASPECT IS THAT OF THE MIXTURE OF SLOW SONGS AND UP BEAT SONGS, BOTH VERY WELL REPRESENTED BY SUCH HITS AS YOU LIE(SLOW SONG)&(WHY HAVEN'T I HEARD FROM YOU (FAST UP BEAT SONG)IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A BARGAIN OR JUST SOMETHING BY REBA TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION THIS IS THE ONE.THERE IS SOMETHING ON HERE FOR EVERYONE!
The bery BEST Reba has to offer
1999-07-28 - There are two versions of this "Best Of.." compilation, one released in Canada and I believe the U.K., and the more expensive one released in "Australia," and the title is about all they have in common. Both versions feature such hits as "Whoever's In New England," "For My Broken Heart," "Is There Life Out There," "Fancy," and or course "Does He Love You." The Canadian version then continues to focus on the hit singles and well known songs dating all the way back to "Somebody Should Leave." This is probably the best greatest hits collection from Reba one can buy, and is definetely worth the import price. The only dissapointment could be the absence of "You Lie" and "Till You Love Me," however the inclusion of the previously unavailable "Misty Blue" makes up for it. The Australian release focuses more on the recent songs and is more artistic than commercial. More a "Best Of" than "Greatest Hits," this version only contains five #1 singles, but features such gems as "Read My Mind," "You're No Good," and "I'll Take Your Heart," that were never released to radio. "I'll Take Your Heart" was actually recorded for the If You See Him CD, but somehow ended up on the bonus CD, and feels quite at home here. Also included is the brilliant Dianne Warren penned "What If." The big surprises on this album though are the newly recorded versions of "And Still" and "Fallin' Out of Love." These new versions produced by Reba and David Malloy are more adult contemporary than country and capture a whole new feel and emotion for this diverse and ever changing diva. Either version of Moments & Memories is essential and both will make you fall in love with Reba for the first time, or all over again.
