Editorial Review:
The most successful of ex-Menudo members, Ricky Martin delivered a worldwide hit with the club favorite "Maria" (you know, the "un, dos, tres, Maria!" song), and here he follows up with more urgent, catchy pop tunes with emphasis again on danceable rhythms. Solid-impact tunes include the terrific and upbeat "Marcia Baila" and the percussion- and horn-driven opener "Por Arriba, por Abajo," complete with African chants. Occasional soft tunes like the samba-flavored "La Bomba" and the melancholy "Casi un Bolero" only serve as time-outs from the dance fever evoked on tunes like the finger-snapping "Lola, Lola" and the rhythmic title track. Weak is "No Importa la Distancia," a bland cover of Michael Bolton's "Hercules." --Ramiro Burr

Vuelve Reviews:
More boring martin 2 Star Review
2009-11-07 - Let's face it, Ricky only sells albums because his pretty face, he is an awful singer.

"Vuelve" Simply awsome 5 Star Review
2008-10-26 - The simple fact of listening Vuelve opens up a great environment, you will find out what am I reffering to when you get to listen to every single song so let's put this simple, powerful music that makes you sing and dance even if you dont speak spanish or if you dont know how to dance and ballads that are tremendously sweet and romantic that makes you feel love in the air, if you get to find very good speakers I strongly recommend you to listen Vuelve (the song) at a loud volume and find all the musical richness because it's a delicious song brought to this album by an outstanding composer like Franco De Vita, it really worths to buy it.

good for Spanish Class 4 Star Review
2008-04-12 - I really liked this cd. I enjoyed both the ballods and the other songs. I like to play music in class. There are plenty of ballods when doing quiet work and more vibrant songs for dancing at parties. The cd does contain hits of Ricky Martin also.

None of that "Livin' La Vida Loca" stuff (which is a good thing) 5 Star Review
2007-09-09 - This album truly showcases Ricky Martin's artistic sensibilities and abilities. He is talented and his interpretation of all the songs is wonderful. "Lola, Lola" has to be my favorite track and is full of emotion and explosive rhythms. His voice soars and his command of the language really displays his charisma, something that is missing in his English songs ¡Que Viva Ricky Martin!

Ricky At His Best 5 Star Review
2006-12-15 - This CD came out before the Livin La Vida Loca Craziness of 1999. It was truly his best CD. All the songs whether low key ballads, or crazy up tempo dance tracks all have one thing in common, they are great. There is a song for every mood and Ricky himself has a beautiful voice. I hope that he one day will make another album like this.

The key tracks are: Vuelve, La Bomba, Por Arriba, Por Abajo, La Copa De La Vida, and Marcia Baila.
