Editorial Review:
This is the seventh live Stones album and the second to appear in three years. Now, what do you want to bet the three men who've appeared on every one of them--Mick, Keith, and Charlie--couldn't name them without a cheat sheet? Chances are, they won't remember this one in five years. Culled from the Bridges to Babylon tour, No Security feels more like a tour memento than a stand-on-its-own recording. The 13 tracks are a mix of familiar chestnuts ("Gimme Shelter," "Live with Me," "The Last Time"), welcome restorations ("Sister Morphine," "Memory Motel"), and tertiary Jagger-Richards tunes ("Flip the Switch," "Thief in the Night"). A few recruits are along for the ride: Taj Mahal turns up on the breath catcher "Corinna," Dave Matthews shares vocals with Mick on "Memory Motel," and jazzman Joshua Redman solos on "Waiting on a Friend." They're all, no doubt, quite proud to have joined these legends on stage and CD. But when they want to hear live Stones, it's a good bet even they will reach for Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out before No Security. --Steven Stolder

No Security Reviews:
1998 Live Rolling Stones Concert on CD. 4 Star Review
2009-10-23 - This was a good show, and the Stones have been pretty consistent about putting on good live shows over the years. The sound quality and set list is good as well.

strangely likeable 4 Star Review
2009-06-21 - I don't like 'You got me rocking' or 'out of control' but most of this sounds pretty good, for a bunch of old mercenaries. 'flip the switch' is the best of the new songs.

GREAT! 5 Star Review
2007-12-02 - In my opinion, the only drawback to this album is that it ends just a little too soon. Other than that, it ROCKS! Saint of Me followed by Waiting For a Friend gives Waiting For A Friend a Spiritual Feel. Good Stuff, loved the Wah-Wah Pedal on the last song.

Rolling Stones - 'No Security' (Virgin) 4 1/2 stars 4 Star Review
2007-03-22 - Review no.63. Never even got to check out this live Stones CD until here recently. A nicely assembled fourteen track concert document of the Stone's 'Bridges To Babylon' U.S. trek. There are three cuts here from that modern day Stones classic - "Saint of Me", "Theif In The Night" and the awesome "Out Of Control". Not sure as to WHY many fans claim that the 'Bridges' CD isn't very good. It's fine! Then of course, there are the old stuff that so few rarely grow tired of, like "You Got Me Rocking" (actually, this is a later tune but it's SO good I thought it was an oldie at first), "Gimme Shelter", "Waiting On A Friend", "Sister Morphine" (hadn't heard this cut in ages), "Live With Me" and the unbeatable "The Last Time" (my personal favorite of the entire disc). Sound quality and production here is superb. Simply, a must-have.

The Stones Rule...................... 5 Star Review
2007-01-12 - I have been reading the reviews of this CD and I cant believe them, these guys are what rock and roll is all about....give me a break, if you were at these shows which IM SURE MOST OF THE REVIEWERS WERE, they were wasted like the rest of us were, this tour was awesome....I saw them on this tour and I was blown away...you people need to wake up, The Stones wont be around for much longer, enjoy them while you can, quit being so critical......
