Description of Max & Ruby - Max & Ruby's Christmas:
Brother and sister rabbit deal with Santa's arrival, snow "queen" building, sledding, and ice skating in this winter-themed gathering of the Nick Jr. series Max & Ruby. Rosemary Wells's classic board book siblings come to animated life beautifully with bossy, but inhumanly patient Ruby guiding 3-year-old Max through the traditions of Christmas, the safety precautions of winter sports, and the importance of building regal female snow creatures. Max, of course, utters one-word pronouncements and benignly does what he always intended to do, anyway. Each episode clocks in at just under eight minutes, making it ideal for youngsters' short attention spans. The last two episodes about a surprise party and tent-building are not seasonal. 2009-11-01 - Our nearly three-year-old granddaughter has been watching Max and Ruby since she was two and, as always, she is glued to the set when it is on. It's like catnip for pre-schoolers! We have most of the DVDs and we recycle them as she wants to watch them over and over and over! She has them memorized and will anticipate the action in each of them. The stories are great and the characters are quiet, gentle and respectful toward each other. Great series.
Great for toddlers!
2009-03-12 - I purchased this DVD in the beginning of December and they quickly turned into my son's favorite 'movie'. The short episodes are fun to watch and the subject matter is very light and playful.

2009-01-10 - My 3 year old loves this dvd of Max and Ruby even after Christmas she still wants to watch it. Who doesn't love Max and Ruby. Would recommend this one.
FANTASTIC DVD
2007-05-08 - Max and Ruby, what a great idea for a cartoon for kids they learn and laugh and have fun watching the DVD all at the sametime and don't even realize it. This is a wonderful DVD.
