  • Editorial Review:
From the producer of "Anne of Green Gables":

"Stunningly filmed with the kind of expansive outdoor vista and attention to authenticity rarely seen on weekly television" - LOS ANGELES TIMES

This 4-Disc DVD Boxset is the complete fourth season of "Road to Avonlea" / "Avonlea" (as shown on the Disney channel). Olivia (Mag Ruffman) and Jasper (R.H. Thompson) await the birth of their first baby. Meanwhile, Hetty (Jackie Burroughs) resigns from teaching to pursue a writing career and develops a secret friendship with the new schoolteacher, Clive Pettibone (David Fox). Sara (Sarah Polley) experiences her first adolescent heartache, when she falls for an aging Wild West show cowboy, played by Treat Williams; while Felicity's (Gema Zamprogna) friendship with Gus Pike (Michael Mahonen) turns serious. Looking for places to invest her money, Hetty becomes a not-so-silent partner in the White Sands Hotel and proceeds to make Simon Tremayne's (Ian D. Clark) life a living hell. The finale sees Hetty and Jasper working together to make a "home movie" in order to save Avonlea from the hands of a ruthless land developer.

Road to Avonlea Season 4 Reviews:
Road to Avonlea Seasons 1-7 5 Star Review
2009-10-09 - I agree with J. Romero as I have been ordering the seasons one at a time, too (more affordable)...never thought I would be able to get the series and was so sad..I couldn't afford to buy it off the Sullivan site and when I found it on Amazon so affordably I could buy one at a time...it was wonderful. I actually first saw the series thru Netflix and redid the series thru Netflix again because I loved it so much...now I own them!! I can watch any time. I had the privilege of visiting PEI 3 years ago and loved being up there and seeing "Anneland" Would love to visit again (in the wintertime)...when I'm done with RTA I'll be looking to getting the "Wind at my Back " series...'cause I really enjoy that one, too. What excellent entertainment!

Road to Avonlea Season 4 5 Star Review
2009-07-11 - There are not enought stars to rate these shows. All seasons are wonderful. My daughter has them all and watches them over and over. If you are into good, clean, entertaning TV then you would love these. Anything from Kevin Sullivan is great. The next best one from Kevin is Wind At My Back Series. They are wonderful!

Perfect family time!!! 5 Star Review
2008-12-14 - I liked this season too. If I compare this Season with the Season 1-2-3, I laughed or cried less :) May be little bit less action than the earlier seasons but still good. If you are planning to buy you should go head. You will meet with new Felicity.

Wholesome Family Show 5 Star Review
2008-08-03 - I have been ordering the Road to Avonlea series over the past two months. I have never seen them although I loved the Anne of Green Gables series made for TV. My children and I cannot get enough of them and before I know it we have finished a season and I order another one. We sometimes have to wait for the next season to come in the mail and my children ask me every day if the next series has come. I finished season one through four and decided to order the remaining 5-7 season series its just to good to wait for them to come in the mail. Absolutely Love Them!

Absolutely perfect in every way, very well acted/produced! 5 Star Review
2008-01-12 - I own all seasons of Road to Avonlea. This series is such a joy a to watch, you feel like you're stepping back in time. This was my favorite series and I wasn't able to watch all seasons when it was on TV, since I was in college at the time. You won't be sorry you bought this, it will become a favorite for sure and for certain!
