Southside Double-Wide: Acoustic Live Reviews:
Sevendust
2009-01-11 - I love Sevendust and this acoustic performance is incredible. Yes, they can jam the hard stuff acoustically!
Best acoustic sound for "nu-metal" era rock, period.
2008-08-17 - I've been a fan of Sevendust since 1997. Their heavy, yet rhythmic riffs, is what always kept me waiting around for that "next" cd. When I first purchased this cd, it simply blew my mind. I watched the DVD before I listened to the cd. Talk about concert footage that NEVER gets old. The set consists of some of the best songs sevendust has put out, as well as a cover of NIN "Hurt".
I have introduced many people not accustomed to the hard, heavy sound by "easing" them into Sevendust using this cd.
Hit the Dust
2007-08-13 - Sevendust does it again. Another rocking CD, even with the softer acoustic sound, Sevendust rivals any hard rocking band out there, even if they never have a top 10 radio hit.
False Advertising!
2007-07-25 - I'm a little annoyed..... this did NOT come with the guitar pick OR the booklet like it was supposed to!!!
Sevendust's Acoustic Live Album.
2007-05-13 - This album is fantastic, I have never heard Sevendust perform these songs acousticly, it brings a different feel to the songs. Also, I love the fact that this album is a Limited edition, as it comes with official tour photos and a pick, as well as a dvd. I truly love this band and this album proves that Sevendust can perform live extremely well and the musicianship of each band member is of a high quality. Thanks Sevendust!
