At her Catholic school, she becomes a friend of Lynne Stone (Helen Hunt), who also loves to dance and invites her to an audition to be part of the show. However, her tough father Colonel Glenn (Ed Lauter)& Mrs.Glenn (Margaret Howell), who raise Janey in a military environment,and do not accept her participation in the audition, so she goes to a a lot of trouble to escape for the competition. Rich girl: Natalie Sands (Holly Gagnier) tries to use her wealthy father's influence and power to win the competition. Who will win the dance competition to become regulars on the TV show?
