  • Editorial Review:
Based on the classic book, these adventures star Harold, an inventive and curious toddler, with thoughts, desires, and feelings typical of any child his age. In his Crayon World, Harold can muse on questions that all young children naturally wonder about, and he can come up with his own answers. They crayon is not magical but merely the key to unlock the power of Harold's imagination.

Harold and the Purple Crayon - Let Your Imagination Soar Reviews:
Great story dvd 5 Star Review
2009-09-13 - My son loves Harold! This is his second tape and he watches them all the time. I really like it for him to watch before bed, it helps settle him down. The cute imagination is great!

Great movie for young children 5 Star Review
2009-07-07 - My granddaughter (who is almost 3) loves this movie! This way, she can watch her favorite television show even when it is not being broadcast.

Harold and his purple crayon on DVD! 5 Star Review
2008-02-14 - This DVD features Sharon Stone as narrator and includes the following episodes from the HBO Family series:
    1. Harold's Birthday Gift
    2. A Blast from the Past (Dinosaurs)
    3. Harold the Artiste
    4. Harold's Walk on the Wild Side (Penguins & Monkeys)
    5. Harold in the Dark (Where is the moon)
    6. Future Clock (Harold in grown-up jobs)
    7. Cowboy Harold
This is one of the only shows my 2-3 year old boy will watch, and Sharon Stone does an amazing job with the stories.
Very calm story lines, not a lot of hi-tech glitz jumping out at your child every 5 seconds. Calming and educational and fun enough to keep your little one entertained.
