OUTLIER * New Music for Music Boxes
The music box takes center stage in this exciting and novel CD by New York composer/pianist/instrument builder John Morton. Through the manual and electronic manipulation of composed music box mechanisms, layers of tones, surprising textures, and elegantly constructed figures are moulded into abstract melodies. Joined by Steve Hardwick, guitar, Ted Piltzecker, vibraphone, and Bill Blossom, bass, the altered music box becomes a distinct, expressive musical instrument: it intrigues the imagination and evokes the power of childhood musical memories.
Among the compositions on the CD is a suite from A Delicate Road, commissioned by the Greenwall Foundation and first performed at The Kitchen with dancer/choreographer David Appel; an early work, Slurry, for three clarinets; as well as stylistically diverse compositions that explore the rhythmic, enveloping sound of Morton's ingenious music boxes.

Interesting Stuff For Slipknot Diehards 
2001-05-23 - If your like me and can't get enough of these 9 guys, then this is for you. Ten tracks of biographical info and interview segments to keep you happy for a while. Has some really good stuff enclosed, such as talks about commitment, money, and fans. Shawn does most of the talking herein, and Corey does a fair share as well. Comes with a neat mini poster of Corey, which is a nice addition to your walls. All in all, a good disc to learn more about one of the most dedicated and fierce bands in business.
Another slipknot biography
2000-07-18 - this cd has 10 tracks in which various members of slipknot are interviewed. Mostly the clown though. it does not contain any music by slipknot at all. it is purely a collector's item for the most diehard slipknot fans. it comes with a small corey poster. its pretty cool.
Not their best album
2000-07-04 - I bought this album thinking their were going to be some un heard of rare tracks. There were a couple I think. But if you want a slipknot album get their original one. Buy this only if you are a die hard fan like me.
