Description of Now That's What I Call Music! The Best Videos of 2003:
Whether the 15 videos in this hourlong compilation really comprise the best that 2003 had to offer, as advertised, is arguable--but whatever it is that you call music, you'll likely find something appealing. The selection pretty well runs the gamut; it's actually quite a stretch from, say, the frivolous little pop hooks of Jessica Simpson's "Sweetest Sin" to the pounding rock riffage of Godsmack's "Straight Out of Line." About half of the videos are all about sex, with gorgeous young women either as performers (Mya's "My Love is Like... Wo," Lisa Marie Presley's "Lights Out") or props (Snoop Dogg's "Beautiful," Ginuwine's "In Those Jeans"); then come the rage, dread, and unsettling sounds and images of the likes of Evanescence's "Going Under," Jane's Addiction's "Just Because," and the Godsmack piece. All in all, the videos are hardly what you'd call genre-defining. But there's certainly an hour's worth of entertainment to be found here. --Sam Graham

2008-06-09 - The videos were advertised but my daughter did not like them as much as Billy Jonas.

    Good videos 4 Star Review
2005-09-10 - This product is very good and I would recommend it to anyone who likes music!

this is way better than the 2nd one... 5 Star Review
2004-12-02 - this dvd is not... i love the mya 'my love is like wo!'... one of her hottest videos...

snoop dogg, jessica simpson, stacie orrico, and train are the best videos on this DVD...

this DVD is great overall with powerhouse videos... most of the ones on the 2nd one has more rock videos than a mix of all videos

Could've been better. 3 Star Review
2004-02-15 - NOW always releases good cds and I've been buying them for several years. So when I saw this DVD here at Amazon I didn't hesitate and bought it but I found out that it wasn't that good but here you'll find some very good videos as:
1- MYA: "My love is like...wo"
This video was chosen by MTV as one of the 20 best videos of 2003. The song was also a big hit in the charts.
    2- SNOPP DOGG: "Beautiful"
For this hit song, they made a fresh video in Rio.
3- JESSICA SIMPSON: "The sweetest sin"
For the first single of her 2003 album, they chose this song which is very good and for the video they chose as model Jessica's husband, Nick Lachey ("America's young sweethearts")
4- LISA MARIE PRESLEY: "Lights out"
I have to be honest here, I thought that her music was going be horrible but her voice and style is very good as the video
    5- 3 DOORS DOWN: "When I'm gone"
This is a video that was shoted with the American Marines that were ready for the war.
    6- COLDPLAY: "Clocks"
The video of this song is very good also, in a very Coldplay way.
Those are the best videos in my opinion. You'll also find in this DVD Evanescence's video "Going under". I'would've added better "Bring me to life".
In general is a good DVD that you can easily like but there were other good videos as "Me against the music" (Britney Spears & Madoona), "Ooh!" (Mary J. Blige), "In da club" (50 cent) or "Where is the love" (Black eyed peas).

And finally another thing that I don't like of this DVD is that doesn't have special features.

    Not impressed 3 Star Review
2003-12-14 - I like about half of the videos included. What really got to me was the overall quality of the videos. The sound quality was not that great. The bass sounded static like. Maybe I got a bad copy but I don't like icky sound quality on a DVD.
