Calendar Girl Reviews:
Better In Solo 5 Star Review
2005-03-13 - 1. Pie Jesu:4.Her voice is cool,but is unnecessary.
2. Come My Way:10.A masterpiece. Her voice is very mellow and the beats are superb!.Pretty electronic and catchy.
3. Get The Music On:8,5.A pretty good dance-club track,but nothing new.Good to dance to.Charted @ #9
4. Dont Push It:9.Very Kyliesh song.Pretty catchy and it has great beats.
5. Love Thing:8,25.The chrous is the best in this song, the rest is Ok.Another disco song.
06. Shake:10.Is a B-side and I can't understand why it wasn't include in her debut album(she's working in a new one).It's very very catchy,and I love the beats ^_^.
07. Anywhere With You:10.This is an amazing R&B track.I love the lyrics and her voice.the bridge is outstanding.Great track.
08. Ave Maria (Interlude)2/10 Unnecessary
09. Inside Outside:9.Her first single was #5,And is a grower,I loooove the video,it's SO original, the song has amazing beats too. This song will remind you about Kylie a lot,it's something between "It's In Your Eyes" and "Can't Get You Out Off My Head".
10. Step Back To Love:8.More disco tracks. This is very sensual and catchy but not the best song in the album.
11. Luv Me:9,75.She co-wrote 5 of the 10 songs in the album, and this is one of them. This is a slower track, but not a ballad. The lyrics are not bad.The chrous is pretty.
12. You Better Not Fall:6,75.I love the intro. The beats are amazing and I love the lyrics too.The chrous is a bit annoying though.
13. One Breath Away:7,5.In my opinion this is not material to release as a single, ballads can be singles but this is pretty boring. The lyrics are great. It's cute though. It was #23
14. Ave Maria:8,5.An amazing voice she has,and it's cool to mixed this kinda opera song with electronic beats.I like it.

This CD Is Superb!!! 5 Star Review
2003-05-16 - If you like pop, this is it at it's ultimate peak! Here you have Sophie Monk, the Pop Princess who can sing disco and opera! It kicks off "Pie Jesu" which is gorgeous. It then leaks right into "Come My Way", one of the highlights of the album. It's also one of my favorite tracks. Track 3 is the awesome "Get The Music On" (the 2nd single released from Calender Girl). The video for this song is REALLY sexy. The next track is "Don't Push It" which, like most of the album, is fun, up tempo pop. Track 5 ("Love Thing") is decent, but isn't all that. Track 6 ("Anywhere With You") is a wonderful balld type song. This is, also, one of my favorite songs. Ave Maria (Interlude), Track 7, is a short clip of what's to come and is just as worthy of listening to as any other track on this CD. The next song is Sophie's debut "Inside Out" which is pure dance-pop. After this, the albums starts to slack a little, but is still awesome. "Step Back To Love" reminds me of something Kylie Minogue might have done years ago. "Luv Me", the next song, is the highlight of the entire album. I really can't explain it, but this song is so catchy. "You Better Not Fall In Love" [stinks]. It's really bad. Sorry. "One Breath Away" is a decent ballad, but she is capable of better. Finally! What we've been waiting for: Ave Maria! It's awesome! So here's a final review of Sophie Monk - Calender Girl
