    Crocodile 2: Death Swamp Reviews:
    DUMB 1 Star Review
2009-01-09 - I find it offensive when bad writing makes it's way to the screen (all the time it seems). Here, we have that in spades. I'm not going to waste my time detailing it all, but here's an example. I don't know how many times one of the bad guys says "mother******", but it's a classic example of some idiot putting in words he/she has probably never heard in the real world (but imagines that it's all anyone says in the ghetto)... the characters black... must be from the ghetto... so that's all the character says. Over and over and over again! I'm white and I find it ignorant and insulting. Why don't you just have him ask for chicken and watermelon!! Ridiculous!

Better than expected 3 Star Review
2008-05-24 - Like its predecessor, it has many flaws. But it has something its predecessor did'nt count on: a fairly realistic crocodile. Unlike Flatdog (name of the croc from the first movie)this croc (called "El Lagarto Diablo" in this movie which means the devil gator which is inaccurate but forgivable since it was named by natives) looks more realistic and doesn't swim in reverse like a vehicle or does other very unrealistic things. The plot, well, typical of a direct-to-video film but delivers at what it does.

    Oh Please! 1 Star Review
2008-02-14 - Was it really neccessary to throw in the topless shots of the girls?
I'm watching this hokey movie about a giant lizard which was mildly entertaining and in the middle of nowhere here are these topless girls frolicking in the water. ?????
    Can someone tell me why?
This movie went in the trash with the other garbage..........

    Good movie. 3 Star Review
2007-10-10 - This was a fairly good thriller movie. Though that crocodile was pretty scary. A little too scary and quite huge as well. I saw this on tv and was pleased with it so I decided to buy it. Though I still liked Lake Placid more because it had some humor. This one just had a bit too much killing but overall was still enjoyable movie.

It doesn't comapre to its predecessor 2 Star Review
2006-08-02 - After seeing Crocodile for the first time, I was actually looking forward to the sequel. Unfortunately, it doesn't measure up to even those standards.

For one thing, there's too much focus on the criminal gang even after the movie gets going and it's just not interesting.

At one point, it starts to get interesting when none of the male characters match the profile of the lead male in this type of movie. A few minutes later, what do you know, Mr. Generic Hero is introduced and on his way to everyone else.
