The Stevie Wonder Anthology Reviews:
Stevie Wonder is a Wonder
2009-08-10 - The Stevie Wonder Anthology is just exactly what the exacting musician needs. Check out what this genius has done in the last half century, and he still delivers. What is this genre? Jazz, pop, love songs, everything you could ask for. Some of these songs most people have forgotten that Stevie Wonder wrote them since they have become standards, really. A great book at a reasonable price and since the guy is still alive, a living tribute to an American icon.
Only 3 songs from Talking Book
2009-04-06 - Couldn't give 5 stars! 'cuz it has only has 3 songs from Talking Book! Can't say enough good things about the music though!!!!!
Its Alright
2008-08-20 - This book is great if you want to play the piano and the singing melody on the piano at the same time. What I didnt like about the book was exactly that. I wanted to play the songs on piano like on the cd. Not with the singing on the piano. It makes it harder to play it than if you were just playing the chords like stevie wonder does.
great overview
2008-06-14 - this is a must for any fan of Stevie Wonder where piano is concearned. very detailed and very well put together about the Genius of Stevie Wonder's music. this book covers 30 years of hits in order. a must for any fan of Stevie Wonder.
Great anthology!
2007-10-14 - I have been looking for a comprehesive overview of Sevie's music for piano for quite some time. This book gives a nice coverage of his songs during his career up till 1998. All songs are in the original settings, so certainly not for beginners. The only pity is the fact that the songs are in alphabetical order. I would have preferrred to have them ordered in chronological order per album.
